Today's Objectives
1. Examine the political parties objectively.
2. Create posters explaining the political parties.
Heading: Democracy 9 Date:
I know I would like to know I learnt
2. How these data sheets were organised
• All of the information here is from the official websites of the
parties. All of it and more can be found online by simply
googling the name of the party
• How they are presented also comes from their websites (words
in bold, headings and language used.) I shrunk them only.
• The teacher and school are unbiased in these matters and will
not promote or slander any party.
3. • The class will be divided into 5-6 teams.
• Each team will read about a separate political party and convey
the following in a poster.
1. Their ideas or priorities. (3 people can do this)
2. Their history and values. (2 people can do this)
3. Their logo (1 person can do this)
Each team member will have around 10 minutes to read and note the
important information (DO NOT HIGHLIGHT / WRITE ON THE
SHEETS) while the artist draws the logo in the center.
Plan for today
4. Continue your action project report.
Ask adults about their politics and have
discussions with people.
