7. “IPC Media produces over 60 iconic media
brands, with print alone reaching almost two
thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men – almost
26 million UK adults”
-Statistics from their website.
I would suggest IPC media to be the publisher of my magazine because they
already publish many successful magazines across the UK such as NME but do
not publish a hip hop magazine, so there is a gap in their market. They also have
the money and experience for my magazine to be distributed across the UK in
popular supermarkets and newsagents as IPC have a good reputation and
companies would be willing to buy into BOP as their new product as they can be
sure that they will receive a profit.
