The Founding Fathers wanted all men to be treated equal. The Declaration of Independence states,
"We hold these truths to be self–evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by
their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness" (Jefferson, 1776). Unfortunately, equality for everyone has not been truly realized. The
main issues affected were people's skin color and gender. Women and people of color were not
considered to be equal for many years. To correct this issue Affirmative Action was implemented.
Affirmative Action helped people of color and women to be considered for jobs and accepted into
colleges equally among other candidates. Today, equality between races and genders has improved,
although Affirmative Action should be modified to meet the needs of today's society. History needs
to be revisited in order to understand the need for Affirmative Action. The Founding Fathers did not
define "men" as Caucasian men only, but that all races and genders should be included in the
equality mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. It would have been nice for the Founding
Fathers to define the meaning of certain words in the founding documents, but they did not see the

white patrons only. He was a mix of two races, white and black. Plessy was 7/8ths white and only a

conductor, who then asked him to move to the cars for black patrons. When Plessy refused, the
conductor had him arrested. On May 18, 1896 in a 7–1 decision, the policy of "separate but equal"

chip performance the reliability. Frequent transistor switching caused due to large IR–voltage drops
gives raise to timing violations and logic failures. A new clock control strategy is been introduced in
this paper such that the simultaneous switching of the combinational paths is minimized. This is
achieved by clustering the delay slacks having similar slack values. Once the paths are identified
based on the path delays and their slack values the clustering algorithm determines the path to
clusters in a load balanced manner based on the slack values and each cluster will have a phase shift
possible on its clock depending on the slack.

"Hills like White Elephants" by Ernest Hemingway and "Happy Endings" by Margaret Atwood
share a gender–oriented theme. They both show women struggling to attain equality against their
male partners. This theme is depicted through the use of symbolism, point of view and plot conflict.
Symbolically, "Hills like White Elephants" represents a choice. It is a life choice that can't be
undone once it is made. This choice is about whether or not Jig, the female character of the story,
should get an abortion. It supports the theme because if Jig chooses to keep the baby she is defying
the wishes of her male partner, who is simply referred to as "the man," and taking a stand for women

In the advertisement the company pitches these lines "Your left hand plans ahead. Your right hand

This campaign appeals to wealthy white women but the seemingly left out population of wealthy
black women also. The woman portrayed in the ad with her right hand bent looks strikingly familiar
to the campaign from Rosie the Riveter, "we can do it." Rosie the riveter is known as a hard working
woman during the Industrial Revolution. She is the quintessence of a strong woman. Older women
will pick up on this if they remember the campaign picture. The "right hand ring" empowers women
to another level of class and sophistication. Not only is the model showing the diamonds status but
