2. For our copy change
book, Nori and I
used the book “The
Important Book” by
Margaret Wise
Brown. I thought
this would be a
relatable book for
Nori and it would be
a fun way for her to
express what is
important to her.

3. I prompted all of Nori’s
pages by first writing
(blank) are important
because (blank). She
would then pick
something important to
her and fill in the
blanks.
Page 1:
Trees are important
because they give us
oxygen to help us
breathe.

4. Page 2:
Stars are important
because they look
pretty and they glow.

5. Page 3:
Fish are
important
because we can
see them at the
aquarium and we
eat them.

6. Page 4:
Dogs are
important
because they are
pets and are
friends to
humans.

7. Page 5:
Cats are
important
because they
can be pets and
they are my
favorite animal.
