Students will create an original poetry booklet containing 10 different types of poems: a couplet, quatrain, haiku, limerick, cinquain, clerihew, acrostic, found poem, selfie/I am poem, and fingerprint poem. The booklet will be graded based on criteria such as a colorful cover page, table of contents, quality of poems, use of decorations, spelling/mechanics, and effort. Students will receive up to 100 points total for completing the assignment.
