Three rational numbers between −7/11 and 2/11 are −6/11, −5/11, −4/11, ……, −1/11

19. Solution:
(i) a = 1/4, b = 1/5
Let q1, q2, q3, q4 and q5 be five rational numbers, q1 = 1/2(a + b)

20. (ii) The rational numbers between 0.1 and 0.11 are 0.101, 0.102, 0.103, …..0.109.
