Discovery (USA) Acquires Golf Channel Latin America
Discovery, Inc. announced it has acquired Latin American Golf, S.L., which operates Golf
Channel Latin America, a 24-hour pay-tv channel and the region’s digital destination for
golf, from Simple Networks LLC and Fornaluz Productions, S.A., an affiliate of
Inversiones Bahia. The addition of Golf Channel Latin America will expand Discovery’s
global golf media business in the Latin American market, adding a growing multi-platform
golf destination reaching more than 10 million pay-tv subscribers across 17 regional
markets that offers extensive coverage of the game, as well as instructional and
entertainment programming. The acquisition will boost Discovery’s global golf ecosystem,
adding Golf Channel Latin America to a global portfolio that includes GOLFTV powered
by PGA TOUR, the digital home of golf, Golf Digest, the world’s No. 1 golf media brand,
and an exclusive global content partnership with Tiger Woods. Originally launched in 2006,
Golf Channel Latin America offers fans a wide range of premium golf content and
coverage of PGA TOUR tournaments, including more than 36 exclusive live events. On
television, the network is currently available through the premier pay-tv operators in 17
countries, and provides extensive reporting, analysis and coverage of the game across its
digital platforms. Discovery struck a ground-breaking strategic alliance with the PGA
TOUR, announced in June 2018, that included the management of the PGA TOUR’s
international multi-platform rights. This relationship, combined with the Golf Channel
Latin America acquisition, will enable Discovery to optimize and maximize live coverage
and programming across all Golf Channel Latin America and GOLFTV screens from
January 2020.

Tremor International Acquires News Corp’s (USA) Unruly
Tremor International Ltd, a global leader in video advertising
technologies, announces that it has reached an agreement with
News Corp, a global diversified media and information services
company, to acquire Unruly, News Corp’s programmatic video
marketplace. The transaction is expected to be financially
beneficial for both Tremor International and News Corp. News
Corp is receiving 6.91% of Tremor International stock, subject to
an 18-month lock up period and to certain adjustments, along with
a total minimum revenue guarantee for News Corp of GBP 30m
for the partnership. The deal marks the start of a three-year
partnership with News Corp which will equip Tremor with the
exclusive right to sell outstream video on more than 50 News Corp
titles in the UK, US and Australia. Tremor International will also
benefit from Unruly’s 2,000+ direct publisher integrations and
unique demand relationships with the world’s biggest advertisers.

NTT DATA (Japan) Services to Acquire NETE, Expanding Digital
Transformation Capabilities in the Federal Healthcare Sector
NTT DATA Services, a recognized leader in global technology services,
announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire NETE, a
provider of digital design and transformation services for U.S. Department
of Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies. NETE drives global
advancements in health and biomedical research through digital services,
agile application development, clinical/bioinformatics, advanced data
analytics, cloud, and cybersecurity. With more than two decades of
experience, NETE has established a strong reputation for delivering
transformative digital services across key HHS agencies, including the
National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services (CMS), and Health Resources and Services Administration
(HRSA). With the acquisition, NTT DATA will add more than 300 highly

NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. has invested in Trend Express Inc., which provides Japanese companies with marketing support for
the Chinese market, through a fund operated by NDV. As the domestic market has shrunk due to falling population caused by
dwindling birth rate and an aging population, Japanese companies need to expand global business to capture overseas demands. In
the cross-border e-commerce (EC) field, one of the measures for the global business expansion, the number of users in China is
outstanding among other major countries. The size of transboundary business-to-consumer–EC market from Japan to China has
already reached some ¥1.8 trillion*1 for FY2019. Meanwhile, it is not easy, in fact, for Japanese firms to make a full-scale entry
into the Chinese market where its social and cultural backgrounds are materially different from those of Japan. Trend Express
provides Japanese brands with a one-stop support for marketing process for Chinese consumers based on social big data analysis.
Trend Express services are highly rated by their existing customers, primarily Japanese leading brands, with the company’s
additional growth being expected on the basis of the potential growth of the applicable markets and business expansion, arising
from collaborations with their sales partners. Furthermore, there is a close similarity between their services and the NTT Group’s
initiatives for inbound-related business; therefore, NDV has decided to make this investment on the basis that this investment will

Merger

NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced that its board of directors today approved a plan to purchase all shares of docomo Healthcare, Inc., a
consolidated company of NTT DOCOMO, from OMRON HEALTHCARE Co., Ltd. on January 28, 2020 (planned) to make docomo Healthcare
a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT DOCOMO. The board also approved a plan to absorb the company as a simplified merger effective as of
April 1, 2020 (planned). The merger will take effect after the share purchase is completed. As a simplified, absorption-type merger of a wholly
owned subsidiary, certain disclosure items and details are omitted from this announcement. The subsidiary, docomo Healthcare, operates a
healthcare business within the NTT DOCOMO group. The environment surrounding the healthcare business field, namely, healthcare
management applications and supporting services, has been rapidly changing in recent years. The healthcare market overall has been expanding
in line with both individual customers' rising needs and corporate activities designed to enhance healthcare management and corporate wellness.
NTT DOCOMO, aiming to respond to needs in the expanding healthcare market as well as grow its business in this field, has decided on the
merger to further streamline group management and speed up decision making. The merger will also help to strengthen the synergy between this
business and NTT DOCOMO assets such as the d POINT Program and 5G mobile communication services. Accordingly, NTT DOCOMO will
absorb the business of docomo Healthcare. Also, in a related move, NTT DOCOMO and its ongoing partner OMRON HEALTHCARE Co., Ltd.
signed a new agreement today regarding collaboration in fields including those beyond healthcare for the creation of all-new value.

marketing support and on-line video platform services. Facebook, Instagram, and other social networking services (SNS)
have become convenient and quite popular communication tools as smart phones are now in wide use. In response to the

Wolters Kluwer (Netherlands) to Divest Belgian Training Assets
Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory announces that it has reached a
binding agreement to sell its Belgian training assets to NCOI Group, the
largest privately-owned company in the Dutch education and training
market. The Belgian training business (Kluwer Opleidingen / Kluwer
Formations) will become part of NCOI Group, who can leverage their
market leadership position and extensive high-quality education and
training, including state-of-the-art digital learning platforms, to further
advance the offering of Kluwer Opleidingen / Kluwer Formations. In
Belgium, Wolters Kluwer intends to build on its position in professional
information solutions, software, and services for the Legal &
Regulatory, Tax & Accounting, and Health & Safety (HSE) segments,
continuing to serve customers with leading solutions in these areas. The
Belgian training business recorded revenues of €13 million in 2018 and
employs 46 people. Wolters Kluwer will now conduct its employee
information process in accordance with Belgian legal requirements.

Live Nation (USA) Acquires Chile’s Leading Independent Concert
Promoter Dg Medios
Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, announced that it
has acquired a majority stake in DG Medios, one of Chile’s top independent
concert promoters. The Santiago-based company has a sizeable presence in the
country, having sold more than 330,000 tickets in 2018 alone. Live Nation’s
extensive resources combined with DG’s broad reach and regional expertise will
help continue to grow live entertainment offerings throughout Chile. The deal
follows several recently announced acquisitions in Latin America that have
expanded Live Nation’s reach in the region including OCESA in Mexico, DF
Entertainment in Argentina and Brazil’s Rock in Rio. DG Medios was founded
and is owned by Carlos Geniso, the renowned regional promoter to all of the top
tours in Chile, including legendary acts such as U2, Rolling Stones, Guns N’
Roses, Paul McCartney and Justin Bieber. Live Nation has co-promoted with
Geniso a number of times, for massive tours that include the likes of Bon Jovi,
Bruno Mars, Phil Collins, Depeche Mode and Harry Styles. Following the
acquisition, Geniso will continue to oversee all operations of DG Medios.

Bell announced the expansion of its broadband Wireless Home Internet service to communities in the Regional
County Municipalities of Brome-Missisquoi, Coaticook, Memphrémagog and Val-Saint-François in the Eastern
Townships region of Québec. Service is now available to eligible homes in Bolton-Est, Bolton-Ouest, Compton,
Dunham, Farnham, Frelighsburg, Hatley, Ogden, Saint-Armand, Sainte-Anne-de-la-Rochelle, Stanstead,
Stukely-Sud, Sutton and Waterville, and will soon be available in Eastman. To bring broadband Internet access to
rural and other traditionally underserved locations, Bell’s Wireless Home Internet service employs 5G-capable
technology in the 3500 MHz spectrum band on Bell’s advanced LTE wireless network, which already covers more
than 99% of the Canadian population with mobile service. WHI customers also receive the advanced Bell Home Hub
modem to provide fast Wi-Fi throughout the home, and service can also be bundled with Bell Satellite TV. Wireless
Home Internet is already available in communities in Québec, including a recent launch in the Montérégie region,
and Ontario, in areas like the Niagara wine region and the Muskoka and Kawartha Lakes regions.

Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), India’s largest integrated telecommunications company, launched its voice over Wi-Fi service – ‘Airtel
Wi-Fi Calling’. ‘Airtel Wi-Fi Calling’ is designed to enhance voice calling experience for Airtel smartphone customers,
especially when they are indoors. With ‘Airtel Wi-Fi Calling’, customers with Wi-Fi at home or office will get excellent signal
quality indoors. There will be no extra charge for calls made over ‘Airtel Wi-Fi Calling’ and the application consumes minimal
data. The service is currently available to Airtel customers in Delhi NCR and will be gradually rolled out across India.
‘Airtel Wi-Fi Calling’ does not require any app and can be configured on the smartphone by following the steps mentioned
below:
1. Check smartphone compatibility on airtel.in/wifi-calling
2. Upgrade device operating software to the latest version that supports Wi-Fi Calling*
3. Go to Settings on your mobile phone and Switch On Wi-Fi Calling
4. Keep VoLTE switched on as well for a seamless experience
Airtel is working with all leading smartphone brands to roll out compatibility with ‘Airtel Wi-Fi Calling’. The service is

lakh population cities). The solution provides a holistic and granular view of the online shopper and helps to measure
consumer behaviour across E-commerce platforms with speed and accuracy at scale. Within the Fashion category – clothing
contributes more than half (51%); and within this, men’s clothing comes ahead at 58%, with women’s at 36%. Online
shoppers anticipate and hold back their spending for the sale periods (from the 28th of September to 25th of October). More
than 84% of sales came from this period of ‘Big Day sales’ as against just 16% during non-sales days, complementing
India’s festival season. Within this, high ticket categories such as electronics, large appliances, and home decor saw a 3-4X
jump in sales.

NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced that it has completed trials in Thailand and Singapore aimed at expanding the global adoption of
Japanese mobile-network equipment for high-quality fifth-generation (5G) communications and advanced network services. The trials were
organized by DOCOMO in collaboration with Denki Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Advanced Info Service PCL. (AIS) in Thailand and AGC Inc. and
StarHub in Singapore. In trials held in Thailand on September 25 and December 18, Denki Kogyo's metamaterial reflectarray antenna for
flexibly designed radio-wave reception areas was deployed in a 5G trial environment constructed by Thai mobile operator AIS. The trial
measured reception intensity and compatibility with the local network environment. In the Singapore trial on December 4, a
glass-embedded antenna jointly developed by DOCOMO and AGC Inc. and introduced earlier this year was deployed in a 5G trial
environment created by Singapore telco StarHub. The test confirmed that the unique antenna could be embedded on the windows of
buildings to provide mobile coverage in urban areas. DOCOMO's local subsidiary NTT DOCOMO ASIA Pte. Ltd. supported the trial.
The trials further enabled DOCOMO to:

SK Telecom and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) announced that they have completed the development of a 5G-based autonomous and
remote-control navigation test platform and verified the platform using a test ship. The 3.3-meter-long test ship, independently developed
by SHI, has been applied with 5G-based LiDAR, cloud-based IoT platform and T Live Caster, SK Telecom’s real-time video monitoring
solution. The test operation took place in the sea near SHI’s Geoje Shipyard, which is covered by SK Telecom’s 5G network. From the
Remote Control Center in Daejeon, located 250 kilometers from the shipyard, the companies remotely set the ship’s destination and showed
off the autonomous navigation system that enabled the test ship to safely sail to the destination by recognizing and avoiding maritime
obstacles. They also verified the remote control ship operating capability, which enabled the test ship to be remotely controlled and
managed in real-time via 5G connectivity. The 5G-based autonomous and remote control navigation test platform is expected to
significantly improve the safety of ships especially when sailing in narrow water or near shore and enable real-time monitoring of ships
based on massive data sent to the IoT platform. Meanwhile, SK Telecom and SHI have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) to realize 5G-based Smart Yard in March 2019. 5G Smart Yard will provide a safer and more productive ship-building environment
through real-time detection and control of all equipment/facilities within the shipyard.

Telia and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim team up to test how 5G can be used
for self-driving ferries. This is the first part of a larger collaboration between Telia and Norwegian University of
Science and Technology (NTNU) where Telia facilitates several pilots. NTNU is responsible for the development
of control systems, the boat itself, and all other equipment. The research boat “milliAmpére” is now being tested
in the canal in Trondheim, Norway, where Telia together with Ericsson have arranged for live testing by
upgrading the mobile network to support 5G. Telia has also contributed with 5G equipment to NTNU so that the
little vessel can communicate with the control center and its surroundings over the mobile network. “It is very
exciting for us to work with the internationally leading academic community at NTNU for the development of
autonomy in the maritime sector, and we are delighted to be able to contribute with new technology. This pilot is a
very good example of how 5G can be used for something quite concrete,” says Head of the enterprise business

and deploy a nationwide Ethernet virtual private line network (EVPL), allowing the out-of-home entertainment network to
stream data-rich content from eSports to live concerts. All 65 partner movie theater locations have been furnished with Comcast
Business’ scalable Gig-speed internet access, allowing each to connect to the NetLevel San Jose core network. Now NetLevel
can digitally deliver entertainment content to these theaters at up to 10 Gigabits/second, providing its customers the

to watch live TV and On Demand content on any device, is now available on the NuEyes e2 smartglasses and VR magnifying device
that enhances the usable vision of a person who is visually impaired. Xfinity Stream is pre-installed on NuEyes e2, allowing users with
visual disabilities to see TV shows, news, movies, live sports, and more, independently. Founded by a veteran, NuEyes’ mission is to
give millions of people across the U.S. who are visually impaired the independence they may have lost due to conditions like macular
degeneration, glaucoma, and retinitis pigmentosa. The lightweight design of the NuEyes e2, paired with handsfree and wireless
functionality, gives people with low vision the ability to participate in their everyday lives in ways that were once difficult or
impossible, like clearly seeing loved ones’ faces, reading, cooking and enjoying television. Over the past several years, Comcast

NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service to license Lionsgate content. The companies announced that
NBCUniversal will license content from Lionsgate for Peacock, its streaming service launching in April 2020.
Peacock will have access to hundreds of feature films and shows from the Lionsgate catalog to stream
alongside the previously announced slate of original series, TV shows, and films from Universal and other
major studios. NBCUniversal will also license content to Starz to be featured in the U.S. and on its
international streaming service, STARZPLAY, now available in 49 countries worldwide. Under the new
agreement, the STARZ flagship premium channel, as well as the STARZ ENCORE suite of channels --

reduce unemployment. Both parties join forces and bundle their competences and resources, with a financial contribution of 20 million Euro by

Orange, the leading mobile network operator in France, and ATC France, a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation and a leading player in
telecoms hosting, have signed an agreement concerning the deployment of between 900 and 2,000 new mobile network sites located mainly in
rural areas and along transport routes over the period 2020-2024. Demand for mobile network infrastructure is showing strong growth, driven
both by the additional coverage commitments made by telecoms operators as enshrined in the New Deal in France and by the need to increase
the density of their networks. The quality of the mobile network and coverage are among the major commitments made by Orange in France,
commitments acknowledged by the French regulator, Arcep, which recently ranked the operator as number one for the ninth year in a row.
Orange currently has 25,000 mobile radio sites, including 17,000 on fully-owned infrastructure. Orange and ATC France, a specialist in the
management and marketing of network infrastructure, have been working together since 2012 for the deployment and operation of mobile
network infrastructure and have thus further reinforced that existing partnership. This agreement makes it possible for ATC France and Orange
to pool their expertise for the benefit of their customers and to improve network coverage in France. The contract with ATC France will enable
Orange to support the accelerated deployment of its mobile network and increase the density of its coverage. It will achieve this while allowing

how 5G can change the way live sports broadcasts are captured and produced. During the Houston Texans vs New England Patriots
football game at NRG Stadium on December 1st, 2019, a camera person from NBC Sports captured video of the game on the field
using Sony’s PXW-Z450 shoulder camcorder. The video was streamed through Sony’s prototype transmitter box and Xperia 5G
mmWave device, via Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network to a production room in the stadium. The test proved that
5G-connected cameras can be a reliable and beneficial option for future live sports broadcasts. Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband’s low
latency and high bandwidth combined with Sony’s mobile device, video, and encoding expertise enabled low-latency, high-quality
video to be transmitted in near real time to producers. The test showed the potential for remote production teams to be located
anywhere, regardless of where the game’s taking place. Furthermore, 5G’s essentially instant wireless connectivity means that
cameras can be untethered, allowing for more creative camera positions and angles throughout the game and reducing set-up time
and costs required for camera system integration. Verizon and Sony will continue to pursue even more flexible and effortless live

Verizon, The Walt Disney Studios StudioLAB, and ILMxLAB teamed up to explore how 5G can transform live entertainment
experiences and capture moments built on 5G for the broadcast production at the world premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of
Skywalker this week in Los Angeles. The 5G tests represent the latest milestone in the companies’ collaboration to co-innovate and
test how 5G can impact the future of entertainment. Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband was used in two situations during the premiere. At
the live-streamed red carpet event, Disney Studios production cameras were connected to Inseego MiFi M1000® devices that
connected to Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network. The cameras sent high definition video footage to the broadcast truck over 5G,
where Disney Studios producers integrated key red carpet moments captured on 5G into the live-streamed broadcast. Powered by
Verizon 5G and motion capture technology from RYOT, Verizon Media’s next generation motion picture studio, virtual Sith Jet
troopers in an authentic Star Wars environment created by ILMxLAB were showcased at the premiere after-party. The new troopers
from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker appeared via a large LED wall screen, and were actually puppeteered digitally onto the
screen, by actors in motion capture suits miles away in Verizon Media’s 5G studio. Attendees onsite were able to interact and even
banter with these virtual Sith Jet troopers essentially in real time at feature film quality standing in a high-quality 3D environment,
allowing for a uniquely personalized interaction. It was all made possible by RYOT’s motion capture technology, NCAM system,
and Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband’s low latency which allows for essentially real-time interactions with immediate feedback and
two-way communication.

ViacomCBS Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with beIN MEDIA GROUP to acquire a 49 percent stake in
MIRAMAX, the global film and television studio best known for its award-winning film library encompassing more than 700 titles, 278
Academy Award® nominations and 68 Oscars® including four Best Picture awards for Chicago, Shakespeare In Love, The English Patient, and
No Country For Old Men. beIN will retain a 51% stake in MIRAMAX and MIRAMAX’s current leadership team will continue to lead the
company. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020. Drawing on the strength
of Paramount Pictures – ViacomCBS’ historic film and television studio – this investment in MIRAMAX will create synergies and other
valuable opportunities through both new production and co-financing opportunities in film and TV, and the combined distribution of both new
and existing library content. In addition, Paramount Pictures’ deep content library – including more than 3,600 films – and its global distribution
infrastructure, marketing resources and production expertise will further enrich MIRAMAX’s library value and help drive new films and TV
projects. Under the terms of the transaction, ViacomCBS will acquire 49% of MIRAMAX from beIN for a total investment of $375 million,
which includes an upfront cash payment of approximately $150 million, along with a commitment to invest $45 million annually over the next
five years, or $225 million, to be used for new film and television productions and working capital. In addition, Paramount Pictures has entered
into an exclusive, long-term distribution agreement for MIRAMAX’s film library; and an exclusive, long-term first-look agreement allowing
Paramount Pictures to develop, produce, finance and distribute new film and television projects based on MIRAMAX’s IP. Further, beIN and
ViacomCBS will explore other strategic partnership opportunities across content production and distribution, live events and recreation globally.

The addition of Golf Channel Latin America will expand Discovery’s global golf media business in the Latin American market, adding a growing multi-platform golf destination reaching more than 10 million pay-tv subscribers across 17 regional markets that offers extensive coverage of the game, as well as instructional and entertainment programming. The acquisition will boost Discovery’s global golf ecosystem, adding Golf Channel Latin America to a global portfolio that includes GOLFTV powered by PGA TOUR, the digital home of golf, Golf Digest, the world’s No. 1 golf media brand, and an exclusive global content partnership with Tiger Woods. Originally launched in 2006, Golf Channel Latin America offers fans a wide range of premium golf content and coverage of PGA TOUR tournaments, including more than 36 exclusive live events. On television, the network is currently available through the premier pay-tv operators in 17 countries, and provides extensive reporting, analysis and coverage of the game across its digital platforms. Financial, M&A Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Tremor International Acquires News Corp’s (USA) Unruly Tremor International Ltd, a global leader in video advertising technologies, announces that it has reached an agreement with News Corp, a global diversified media and information services company, to acquire Unruly, News Corp’s programmatic video marketplace. The transaction is expected to be financially beneficial for both Tremor International and News Corp. News Corp is receiving 6.91% of Tremor International stock, subject to an 18-month lock up period and to certain adjustments, along with a total minimum revenue guarantee for News Corp of GBP 30m for the partnership. The deal marks the start of a three-year partnership with News Corp which will equip Tremor with the exclusive right to sell outstream video on more than 50 News Corp titles in the UK, US and Australia. The board also approved a plan to absorb the company as a simplified merger effective as of April 1, 2020 (planned). The merger will take effect after the share purchase is completed. As a simplified, absorption-type merger of a wholly owned subsidiary, certain disclosure items and details are omitted from this announcement. The subsidiary, docomo Healthcare, operates a healthcare business within the NTT DOCOMO group. The environment surrounding the healthcare business field, namely, healthcare management applications and supporting services, has been rapidly changing in recent years. The healthcare market overall has been expanding in line with both individual customers' rising needs and corporate activities designed to enhance healthcare management and corporate wellness. In trials held in Thailand on September 25 and December 18, Denki Kogyo's metamaterial reflectarray antenna for flexibly designed radio-wave reception areas was deployed in a 5G trial environment constructed by Thai mobile operator AIS. The trial measured reception intensity and compatibility with the local network environment. In the Singapore trial on December 4, a glass-embedded antenna jointly developed by DOCOMO and AGC Inc. and introduced earlier this year was deployed in a 5G trial environment created by Singapore telco StarHub. The 3.3-meter-long test ship, independently developed by SHI, has been applied with 5G-based LiDAR, cloud-based IoT platform and T Live Caster, SK Telecom’s real-time video monitoring solution. The test operation took place in the sea near SHI’s Geoje Shipyard, which is covered by SK Telecom’s 5G network. From the Remote Control Center in Daejeon, located 250 kilometers from the shipyard, the companies remotely set the ship’s destination and showed off the autonomous navigation system that enabled the test ship to safely sail to the destination by recognizing and avoiding maritime obstacles. They also verified the remote control ship operating capability, which enabled the test ship to be remotely controlled and managed in real-time via 5G connectivity. The 5G-based autonomous and remote control navigation test platform is expected to significantly improve the safety of ships especially when sailing in narrow water or near shore and enable real-time monitoring of ships based on massive data sent to the IoT platform. Meanwhile, SK Telecom and SHI have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to realize 5G-based Smart Yard in March 2019. 5G Smart Yard will provide a safer and more productive ship-building environment through real-time detection and control of all equipment/facilities within the shipyard.

Demand for mobile network infrastructure is showing strong growth, driven both by the additional coverage commitments made by telecoms operators as enshrined in the New Deal in France and by the need to increase the density of their networks. The quality of the mobile network and coverage are among the major commitments made by Orange in France, commitments acknowledged by the French regulator, Arcep, which recently ranked the operator as number one for the ninth year in a row. Orange currently has 25,000 mobile radio sites, including 17,000 on fully-owned infrastructure. Orange and ATC France, a specialist in the management and marketing of network infrastructure, have been working together since 2012 for the deployment and operation of mobile network infrastructure and have thus further reinforced that existing partnership. This agreement makes it possible for ATC France and Orange to pool their expertise for the benefit of their customers and to improve network coverage in France. As from the first quarter of 2020, RMB will use the Proximus platform to launch targeted TV campaigns. Proximus is preparing the commercial launch of its platform for addressable advertising, or targeted TV advertising. This allows media agencies to address advertising campaigns on TV according to the profile and interests of the viewers. With the conclusion of an agreement between Proximus and RMB, Proximus takes another major step forward in offering its customers more relevant ads. RMB on the other hand gives advertisers the opportunity to target specific audiences on television. The agreement enables RMB to use a platform that Proximus makes available, on which it can program, launch, manage and report on targeted TV campaigns. This can be done on any screen (Television, PC and smartphone) and this in live and in replay. The agreement was concluded following a successful test phase. RMB is aiming for a commercial launch in the first quarter of 2020. During the Houston Texans vs New England Patriots football game at NRG Stadium on December 1st, 2019, a camera person from NBC Sports captured video of the game on the field using Sony’s PXW-Z450 shoulder camcorder. The video was streamed through Sony’s prototype transmitter box and Xperia 5G mmWave device, via Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network to a production room in the stadium. The test proved that 5G-connected cameras can be a reliable and beneficial option for future live sports broadcasts. Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband’s low latency and high bandwidth combined with Sony’s mobile device, video, and encoding expertise enabled low-latency, high-quality video to be transmitted in near real time to producers. The test showed the potential for remote production teams to be located anywhere, regardless of where the game’s taking place.
