What’s the chronological order of events?
Chronological order of events
 Trainees observe groups in pairs
 They choose one and let the teacher know
 The teacher becomes their mentor
 Trainees observe the mentor's group again
 Mentor and trainees agree on what will be taught in each
lesson
 Trainees teach half a lesson each
 Trainees teach a full lesson each
 Trainees teach a demo lesson each (observed by mentor &
tutor or observed by mentor & filmed)

Trainee should:
• decide on date of demo (with mentor)
• book camera and other equipment they might
need with Celia
• have 2 copies of lesson plan & of feedback
form (one for mentor & one for LB / JG / TC /
RS / MC)
session after demo lesson…
• One week after demo, once trainees have watched it
and reflected on their performance (notes)
• Feedback session arranged with LB / JG / TC & RS/ MC
• Marks awarded: One overall mark for Lesson plan &
implementation
• Written reprt with feedback given to trainee & their
mentor
