This study examines the impact of human resource information systems (HRIS) on employee performance and satisfaction in the public sector in Jordan. A questionnaire was administered to 95 employees to assess the relationship between HRIS and various HR functions like planning, recruitment, training, compensation, and career planning. The results found statistically significant relationships between HRIS and performance/satisfaction for most functions, except planning and recruitment which did not significantly impact performance. Overall, the study concludes HRIS positively influences HR management and outcomes in the Jordanian public sector when properly implemented.
