DEVELOPING IDEAS
In this section, the goal is to generate a large number of possible
solutions that can then be cut down into the best, most practical
and innovative ones.

S4: Evaluating
For this section,
instead of a video, you
will present the
information in form of
a -restaurant
menu-.
To design the menu,
you can choose any
graphical or text editor
you like, but you will
submit in your file in
.pdf or .jpg format in
the section TASKS of
TEAMS.

DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
Before beginning to think in different
pizzas that can solve your problem, you
will have to list the specific
requirements that must be met based
on the data collected and presented in
the design brief.

Organizing Your Information
To summarize this information, you
will include in your menu a -
restaurant description-.
In the description, with
approximately 100-200 words,
you will describe and recommend the
experience of eating your pizzas,
summarizing the list of
requirements that give signature
to your designs.
DESIGN IDEAS
Now it is time to generate many ideas. You will design a
minimum of 3 pizzas, all them following the requirements
you defined in the design specifications.

Organizing Your Information
For each pizza you will include the following information:
SELECTED DESIGN
In the final step of this section you will select the chosen
pizza outlining the reasons why the design was chosen in
reference to the design specification.

You will choose one of your 3
pizzas and selected as -
Chef’s Recommendation-.
Besides all the information
we mention on the previous
step, you will include a brief
explanation on why do you
recommend this pizza,
highlighting its positive
attributes.

 The design specifications
outline the success criteria
for the pizza based on the
data collected. (task 1)
 Presents 3 feasible and
different pizzas, with all the
information and drawings
required. (task 2)
 For the chosen pizza, outlines
the reasons for its selection
with reference to the design
specifications. (task 3)
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
 Originality: the menu is
creative and inventive.
 Aesthetics: excellent use
