design process to ensure the requirements of the business are met. Develop post evaluation
processes of projects for profitability, value engineering, safety, design functionality, and consumer
experience. Create, manage and communicate a store tracking tool which shows the status of all
planned new stores, relocations and remodels at any given point in time. Develop the complete
process and ensure that it is continually adjusted to reflect the strategic plan. It must be a scaleable
process. Communicate with senior management and at the same time resolve a myriad of issues with
outside consultants, field construction teams and Retail field management. Coordinate resources and
develop store opening processes that align with Retail's business strategy. Communicate and
coordinate the long-term countrywide market/store footprint. This includes coordinating final location
selection, store layout or remodel plan ensuring alignment with countrywide market development plan.
Responsible for providing a communication link and maintaining close and consistent dialogue with
management to ensure business strategies are being communicated, understood and reflected
accurately on floor plans. Address floor plan related concerns/questions/problems and coordinate
solutions with management. Manage the outside resources to ensure that identifiable goals are met.

Was responsible for bi-weekly status of east coast property portfolio. Visited east coast properties at
least once per year to review new store build-outs. Presented Power Point presentation of new stores
opened along with critique to tenant coordinators. Reviewed lease prep guides for tenant remodeling
requirements, proposed rent commencement dates and landlord work and alert tenant coordinator's to
any potential issues. Reviewed and signed off on tenant renewal requirements. Monitored progress to
ensure timely tenant openings.
Prepared tenant coordination new development budgets. Red-lined reviews of base building drawings
in new developments. Prepared tenant lease plans and design construction documents in new
developments. Attended on site construction progress meetings. Maintained and reported lease
changes requested, and ultimately any change orders for new developments. Tracked project
schedules and met with city building department to prepare permit procedure. Acted as tenant
coordinator for larger tenants (new and existing properties). Tracked and approved Tenant

Senior Designer / Special Projects Manager
Reporting to the VP of Store Planning, a project designer is responsible for managing the entire store
design process, including new build and remodeling Abercrombie & Fitch (adult stores) and
abercrombie (children’s store) stores. Promoted to Senior Designer, and responsible for the prototype
design and value engineering of a new concept store, Hollister Co. Projects located primarily in major
malls and select urban street locations, ranging in size from 4,000 to 14,000 square feet throughout the
United States. Responsibilities include budgeting and scheduling the complete store design process.
The design process includes the preparation of the conceptual layouts interfacing with the real estate,
legal and operations departments. Responsible for hiring, training and managing the surveyors,
architects, engineers and permit expeditors. The design process also includes managing the
construction documentation including the bidding process, landlord approval processes and building
department permitting processes. The designers also provide construction field support and make field
visits, write punch-lists and open stores with the operations department. As the senior designer for the
new concept, I was responsible for creating and maintaining the master construction drawing set and
teaming up with the purchasing department to develop fixture drawings and specifications.

                                    high quality look and feel of the clothing and
                                    the visual presentation is complemented By
                                    high-end antique fixtures. The classic

          brand targeted at high school age guys and
          girls. The brand reflects the evolution of the
          “All-American kid”. Outdoor sports have a
          major influence on the brand. Sports such as
          surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and
          mountain biking.

                            The storefront emanates the feeling of a South
                            Seas beach house with California influences. A
                            Spanish tile roof over hangs a front porch
                            entrance flanked by louvered wooden doors
                            opening onto a traditional black and white tiled
                            area representative of a terrace. There is an
                            aged look and feel in addition to a sense of “ old
                            school” quality, classic construction.

              The interior is divided into residential sized
              rooms with proportionately scaled portals.
              Old fashioned fans, built in bookcases, aged
              upholstered chairs, weathered fixtures,
              woven area rugs, pressed tin ceilings,
              quality wood trim, gray wood plank floors
              and ceramic tile add to the old fashioned
              quality residential feel.

Site Plan Engineering Technician
Reported to the Manager of Construction Planning. Managed the development of preliminary site
plans supporting the construction of Wendy’s restaurants, both company and franchised owned.
Ensured optimum utilization of each property, based on site location, property boundaries, future
expansion, traffic flow, etc. Provided guidance, direction and support to outside engineers, architects,
contractors, and the franchise community on projects relating to site plan development, architectural
development and design development. Provided support to the architectural, interior design, and
equipment layout teams. Developed various instructional/informational manuals for company wide
distribution. Was a key player in the design and implementation of the Tim Hortons/Wendy's
combination store as well as the Wendy's/Fuel-Convenience combination store projects. Utilized
Microstation and AutoCAD drafting software in addition to various other database and word processing
software. I was also a part of a beta testing group for a Lotus Notes initiative. This initiative coordinated
the development team (Engineering, Real Estate, and Legal) allowing everyone to use a common
database, Notes mail and even transfer files via the web. Wendy's has since rolled the project out
system wide with very positive feedback

Wendy’s and Tim Hortons merged and a combination building was developed. I was able
to support the design and architectural teams along with developing site plans for a
double drive thru concept. The size of the building, vehicle stacking, overlapping cueing
and delivery truck maneuverability were just a few of the challenges posed.

Abercrombie & Fitch New Albany, OH Senior Designer / Special Projects Manager Reporting to the VP of Store Planning, a project designer is responsible for managing the entire store design process, including new build and remodeling Abercrombie & Fitch (adult stores) and abercrombie (children’s store) stores. Promoted to Senior Designer, and responsible for the prototype design and value engineering of a new concept store, Hollister Co. Projects located primarily in major malls and select urban street locations, ranging in size from 4,000 to 14,000 square feet throughout the United States. Responsibilities include budgeting and scheduling the complete store design process. The design process includes the preparation of the conceptual layouts interfacing with the real estate, legal and operations departments. Responsible for hiring, training and managing the surveyors, architects, engineers and permit expeditors. The design process also includes managing the construction documentation including the bidding process, landlord approval processes and building department permitting processes. The designers also provide construction field support and make field visits, write punch-lists and open stores with the operations department. As the senior designer for the new concept, I was responsible for creating and maintaining the master construction drawing set and teaming up with the purchasing department to develop fixture drawings and specifications.

A Spanish tile roof over hangs a front porch entrance flanked by louvered wooden doors opening onto a traditional black and white tiled area representative of a terrace. The web based distribution system alerted vendors and site supervisors that revisions were available for download. It also housed design updates and bid documentation.   • 21. Wendy’s International Dublin, OH Site Plan Engineering Technician Reported to the Manager of Construction Planning. Managed the development of preliminary site plans supporting the construction of Wendy’s restaurants, both company and franchised owned. Ensured optimum utilization of each property, based on site location, property boundaries, future expansion, traffic flow, etc. Provided guidance, direction and support to outside engineers, architects, contractors, and the franchise community on projects relating to site plan development, architectural development and design development. Provided support to the architectural, interior design, and equipment layout teams. Developed various instructional/informational manuals for company wide distribution. Was a key player in the design and implementation of the Tim Hortons/Wendy's combination store as well as the Wendy's/Fuel-Convenience combination store projects. Utilized Microstation and AutoCAD drafting software in addition to various other database and word processing software. I was also a part of a beta testing group for a Lotus Notes initiative. This initiative coordinated the development team (Engineering, Real Estate, and Legal) allowing everyone to use a common database, Notes mail and even transfer files via the web.
