Title Operational Simulation Of Landing Gear With Automatic Extesion System During Emergency Situation.
Duration Six months
Synopsis In order to reduce the effects of total failure of the hydraulic system and back-ups we designed an electrical
system which in itself is independent from the main system and can support itself for the deployment of
landing gear during any emergency situations and hence can reduce fatal accidents.

• Jet Airways (I) Ltd, Engineering Supply Chain Department (08-Oct-2012 To 07-Oct-2013)
• RECEIVING OF SPARES:Checking incoming spares for quantities, physical damage & required certification.
Updating incoming spare details in AMOS system & giving proper location in Bonded Store as per DGCA requirement
• DISPATCH OF SPARES TO DOMESTIC/INTERNATIONAL SECTORS: Identification of all goods & ensuring
collection of spares received at Dispatch dept / Destination Base. Preparing Pkg list invoice, ensuring all relevant
documents like tag copy, GRN copy to be included before dispatch. Co-ordinating with logistic team for Despatch
details (like AWB details & invoices) & updating in AMOS for future correspondence.
• DAILY TOOL TRANSACTION AND MONITORING OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Handling daily Issue of tools &
precision equipments & Dispatch of Outstation tools on daily basis. Also ensures receipt of tools back to destination
base after completion of work. To make sure that tools and equipment being used meets the accuracy standards, they
are required to be periodically calibrated. Ensure that all tools and equipment in possession are monitored and
calibrated before expiry date.
• PHYSICAL INSPECTION: Ensure that component/ part removed from aircraft are provided with adequate data for
restoration to a serviceable condition. Ensure that the removed component/ part are prevented from damages.
Defective components involved in Incident shall be accepted with "Incident Item “or "Investigation required" label.
Dispatch of such components to Component Processing Centre CPC for further investigation & action.
• Hands On Aircraft Experience:Associated on a part time basis with BMD in Major Maintenance of Boeing 737
aircraft (Mechanical stream-Airframe and Engines)
