How to Customize Facebook Ad Reports

2. Login to your
Facebook Business
Account at
https://business.facebook.com/

3. Enter your credentials

4. Click Log In

5. Welcome to the
Business Manager Page

6. Click on the Menu icon

7. Click Power Editor

8. Click on the Menu icon

9. Click All Tools

10. Click Ads Reporting

11. You can create different
Report Types specific
for Campaigns, Ad Sets
and Ads.

12. But for this Tutorial, we
will create a New Report
for a specific Ad.

13. Click Create Report

14. Click X to Delete
Default Filters

15. Click the Level
Drop Down Menu

16. Click Ad

17. Tick the box of the Ad

18. Click Apply

19. Scroll to the Right

20. This is where we can
customize our Reports

21. From the Metric types
under the Colums

22. To the Delivery types
under the Breakdown

23. To the Date Range

24. If you’ve been running
the Ad continuously,
then specify the Date
Range.

25. In this Tutorial though,
we will just choose
LIFETIME
for the Date Range.

26. Click Lifetime

27. Click Update

28. Now if your Ad targets
a broad Audience, then
choose the necessary
setting for the
Breakdown.

29. But since this Ad has
been set to a specific
Audience, we will
choose NONE for the
Breakdown.

30. Click NONE

31. Now let’s customize
the Metrics that we
want to see under the
Columns.

32. Click
Customize Columns

34. Tick the box of the
Metric you want on the
Facebook Ad Report

35. The chosen Metric
will be listed on the
COLUMNS SELECTED

36. Tick the box
Save as Preset

37. Enter the Name of your
Customized Metrics

38. Click Apply

39. The saved Preset will then be
shown under the Columns

40. As shown here

41. Now let’s save the
Report

42. Click Save Changes

43. Enter the
Title of the Report

44. Click Save

45. The Report now shows
the columns of your
chosen Metrics

46. Now let’s Export
this Report

47. Click Export

48. Choose what to include
and the desired file type

49. Click Export

50. Wait for the Export
to finish

51. Once finished, it will
automatically Download the
file to the desktop

52. Now what if you’re too
busy to login to
Facebook to check
your reports regularly?

53. No problem!
We can set a schedule
where we can have the
reports sent via email.

54. Click Manage Reports

55. Click the Edit or the
Pencil Icon

56. Tick the Schedule Email
check box

57. Choose how often, whether
Daily, Weekly or Monthly

58. Enter your Facebook
Account Name

59. Click Save

60. It will now show when the
Report is scheduled
to be sent via email

61. So that’s it!
