Fundamentally, the traditional loss
fund model is slow and outdated
In a traditional model, MAs hold a wide range
of individual loss funds used to pay out
claims.
To allow access, all funds need to be
transferred to DCA corporate accounts,
which are often unregulated and in 3rd party
environments.

Over the lifetime of the solution, Vitesse have settled close to 6 million payments globally valued at >£5 billion, of which 2.5 million payments at a total value of £2.5bn have been processed since January 2021.  Returning funds to insurers: Across the London Market alone, there is over £1 billion sitting in loss funds. With an estimated 80% of these funds eligible to be returned to Insurers using Vitesse’s solutions, Insurers could generate between £14m and £56m annually in additional returns (based on Insurer feedback on Investment return on funds).
