Key challenges we address in motor industry
Some commercial motor
insurance companies
utilize telematics data to
incorporate a “risk
element” into premiums –
but these only measure
driver events such as
harsh speeding, braking,
accelerating, NOT the
whole trip.
Typically, the only contact
between a motor insurer
and their customer is
annually at renewal time,
or if the customer is

Our Crash Probability Score provides predictive, data-driven
insights into driving risk. The score can be used to:
• Identify high-risk drivers for targeted training or
intervention
• Recognize and engage the safest drivers
• Facilitate precision pricing in motor insurance
The Crash Probability Score can identify the 15% of drivers
who are responsible for 50% of crashes as well as the 85% of
drivers who are lowest risk.

Our Climate Impact Score quantifies climate impact to put
organizations in greater control. The Score can be used to:
• Measure CO2 savings (grams or %), or EV battery savings
• Identify drivers in need of eco training
• Support sustainability efforts and strengthen
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting
Because our Climate Impact Score identifies the correlation
between driver attitude and energy consumption, it empowers
drivers to take responsibility for their own climate impact.

About ABAX
ABAX is one of the largest telematics companies in Europe with solutions for mileage
claims, as well as vehicle, equipment, and tool tracking.
Greater Than and ABAX
• The cooperation between ABAX and Greater Than commenced with the
connection of 200,000 cars to Greater Than’s AI analysis platform, via a single
API.
• GPS data was transmitted from ABAX’s platform to Greater Than’s cloud-based
AI analysis platform and returned to ABAX in real-time providing deep risk
insights into its portfolio.
• The initial benefit to ABAX was instant insight and new layers of risk knowledge
including a risk profile for each customer in its portfolio.
• With the new risk understanding, ABAX tailored an entirely new insurance
product offering suitable for its fleet customers.
• Based on the risk knowledge and demand for the product, ABAX entered a
cooperation with insurance company Tryg Norway and launched the market’s
first insurance offering tailored to the Norwegian commercial fleet market.
• During 2023 ABAX plans to expand its insurance offer in different European
markets.
