The Resource Center (formerly Learning Lab) at Milpitas Christian School is a place where students can come to get help with homework or to receive assistance with building skills needed to be successful in learning and in life. The Resource Center (formerly Learning Lab) at
Milpitas Christian School is a place where students
can come to get help with homework or to receive
assistance with building skills needed to be
successful in learning and in life. Our one-to-one
environment offers personalized service designed
to fit the specific needs of each student.
Gifted and Special Services
For students with highly gifted and creative
minds, programs like the Renaissance Club
stimulate critical thinking while providing social
and emotional support with like-minded peers.
The Resource Center is not a special education
program, but we do offer a selection of services
for students with mild to moderate learning
disabilities. We work to satisfy the requirements
in IEP and 504 plans developed by doctors,
therapists, and public school officials.
Our Priority: Your Child
We help students feel treasured, supported and
validated; without that, learning cannot take
place. One of the unique features of our program
is that we seek to connect with teachers and
parents to provide the best service possible.

Available seating and desk accommodations
include height-adjustable tables and wiggle
stools (to reduce restlessness and fidgeting).
Reference guides for helping parents
understand ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, self-
regulation, autism, Asperger’s, and more.
Supplementary materials and targeted
learning tools include flash cards, note taking
recorders, and electronic pens.
Complete classroom curriculum for all grades
and all courses.
