The Company
Our client is a privately owned independent firm specialising in the manufacture, supply,
design and installation of ductwork systems. Now with almost 30 years of operations behind
them, they have made major investments to the business, this includes redevelopment of
their modern offices and factory, which is now equipped with the latest state of the art
technology and machinery.
The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is now looking for a Junior Surveyor for their premises in
West Byfleet, Surrey. You will Report directly to Commercial Director/ Projects Director and
your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Liaising with Project Managers to ensure all variations are correctly instructed
- Collation of all relevant evidence & information available & correctly presented
- Pricing variations on Excel format and correct submission to clients
- Formulating, with assistance from Project Managers all monthly applications
- Attending regular monthly account meetings (accompanied)
- Assisting with cost analysis on monthly basis
- Regular site visits (travel expenses paid)
- All other general QS duties
The Candidate
All candidates will receive training on the Understanding of Contract Law and general
surveying practices; due to this we are open to discussing the position with candidates
within the ductwork industry but currently in a different position.
Successful candidates should have:
- A minimum of 1 year experience within a similar role (ductwork experience not essential)
- You will need to be confident with Microsoft Office
- You must be familiar with variations
- A desire to progress within the company
