- 3. MOLECULAR MARKER • Molecular marker also known as‘Genetic Marker.’ • A gene or DNA sequence having a known location on a chromosome and associated with a particular trait or gene is used as genetic marker.
- 4. APPLICATION OF MOLECULAR MARKER IN FORENSIC • Used for genetic fingerprinting. • Typically matching a crime stain to a victim. • Used for medicalprivacy. • Used for crime suspect.
