Editor's Notes
The Human Resources Director has the responsibility to maintain and update the files of all the corporation employees. So, therefore, this person should be the instructor to guide the employees to enter their information into the corporation’s computer.
In order for national corporations to function properly, they have to be standardized in each of their entities. In order to save money, corporations need only one Human
Resource Department that will be responsible for all employee records.
The objectives of the course should be written with clear objectives that each employee understands and they aware of what is expected of them. The employees should be aware of what they should expect from the instructor when they need help during the course.
Instructional strategies will be developed to guide the employees in and out of their place of employment that will reinforce the learning objectives and prepare the employees for the accessement at the end of the class.
The course should involve how to input data into the corporate computer. Also to abide to the security placements that the corporation has programmed into the computer. The assigned objective due date should be communicated to each employee and mini due dates for assessment should be known so the employees can plan their schedules in order to meet the deadlines.
The course should teach the employee to be able to update their information on the computer if they change their address or phone number as it happens.
The standards can be set in place by the Human Resources Manager by studying the knowledge of the employees inputting their personal data into the computer. The employees should be able to remember what they have learned and recall the facts of the class. They should be able to comprehend the procedures need to be able to input the data into the computer. They should be able to apply what they have learned at the end of the class.
Authentic assessments are determined by how the employees perform in real life. This includes actually entering data into the corporate computer correctly. It actually accesses how the employee learned and retained the knowledge of what they learned from the instructor.
The Human Resource Instructor needs to utilize surveys of home office staff to determine what the employees goals are for the course. This will determine what areas need to be concentrated on so that the employees will have learned and the course will then align itself with the goals and objectives that are determined at the beginning of the course.
