I had to look at other school magazine's before making my own. This helped me to come up with different ideas for my front cover and I ended up using one of the magzine's front cover as my front cover.
2. This magazine has a very simple design and only uses two
main colours which makes it look good. It is easy to see
what the school is called and has some pictures which
show the reader what sort of school it is.
Although it doesn’t have anything saying what is
inside the magazine or the price or anything, it is still
a good magazine as it is simple and easy and the two
colours work well together making it eye-catching.
I have chosen to base my school magazine on this
idea as it is simple and quite easy to do as I am
not an expert on photoshop.
It is clear to see the masthead but there are no kickers
or box outs. All there is are pictures.

3. This is a very cool design and clearly gets out to the reader what school the magazine is about.
I like how it has been laid out and the colours use obviously represent the school’s main colours which is
good.
For me to do this type of design, would be a bit too hard as I am not to keen on photoshop.
There are no box outs or kickers or anything but you can easily see the masthead as it is big and clear.
