1. 27432000<br />Donna’s Tofu with Tomatoes<br />2 medium tomatoes<br />300 g tofu<br />2T oil<br />2 T chopped scallion<br />1/2 t salt<br />1/2 t sugar<br />1 T soy sauce<br />dash black pepper<br />1/2 c parve stock<br />2 T cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water<br />1 t seasame oil<br />Cover tomatoes with boiling water and let sit 2-3 minutes. Peel seed and cut in wedges. Cut tofu in pieces.about 2quot;

<br />Heat oil in wok. Add scallion and cook until light brown. Add tomatoes and cook til soft ( about a minute) Add tofu and let heat a bit. Add salt, sugar, soy sauce, pepper, stock  and simmer for a minute. Add cornstarch mixture- cook to thicken and stir in sesame oil. Serve ato nce.<br />
