1. 27432000<br />Donna’s Tofu with Oyster Sauce<br />300 g tofu<br />2 T oil<br />2T chopped scallions<br />2 T Vegetarian Oyster Sauce (Golden Boat)<br />1 T soy sauce<br />1/2 t sugar<br />dash white pepper<br />1/2 c parve chicken stock<br />1 t cornstarch in 1/4 c water<br />1/4 c chopped cilentro (optional)<br />1 t seasame oil<br />Rinse tofu and cut in 1 inch squares. Fry scallions in oil in very hot wok for about 20 seconds. Add tofu and let fry until heated thru. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, pepper, and stock. Cook for 2 minutes and add cornstarch to thicken. Turn off flame and add cilentro and seasame oil. Serve over rice.<br />Tofu with mushrooms and Oyster Sauce<br />Recipe as above- add variety of mushrooms with tofu. If using dry shitake mushrooms, use soaking liquid as well. ( I double the recipe, use the equivalent of 2 baskets of mushrooms and a handful of dried with one large tofu from quot;
