The ideal audience for my presentation will be high school graduates who are ready to join colleges for different courses. Basically it has been noted that , students have had difficulties when it comes to making the choice on the courses they should pursue in colleges. As a result, students have ended up dropping out of colleges when things become tougher than they expected.

introduction
Once poet William Butler remarked, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. ” very true words never spoken. Different people develop passion for teaching differently. For instance, many students passion for teaching is often ignited by an inspiring teacher who teaches them while others from their parents who are teachers and are prosperous in their carrier.
Personally, my teaching passion started at my tender age . My dad would always tell how I would force my sisters, who were even older than me to sit down while I teach them. Basically, I could teach them the songs taught by my teacher at school with exactness of my teacher’s approaches while teaching us. Education has undergone several transformations to become what it is today.

Regardless of different cultures, teachers have a distinct roles in the history of education. It is through them that people get to deeply understand and appreciate their culture a notion that increases their self esteem (Ayers, 2012).
Teaching however does not take only one form, reading and writing, but can take different forms. Initially, it starts at home as it was observed in the early ages. Teaching during those times took place in forms like observation, parenting and oral referencing (Ayers, 2012).

3. Education origin has its origin traced from early ages
During these periods, the common forms by which it took place
were; observations, parenting and oral referencing. However
these were not the only forms but the main ones.
From one culture to another, the roles of teachers remain
distinct in the history of education.

Modernization vs teaching
Modernization has greatly influenced the way teaching
takes place in todays world. Compared to early 1880’s where
teachers used to teach students under trees and with very few
number of students, the situation is totally different today
(Richardson & Watt, 2015)
The reason behind the trend is the improvement in
technology and more learning resources. The government has
highly invested in the sector of education by building bigger
schools and equipping the teachers with all requirements to
effect education sector (Richardson & Watt, 2015)
Modern teaching differs largely when compared to the early
teaching approach as traced in 1800’s. records show that
students used to undertake their studies under trees because of
limited resources. This highly limited the number of students to
undergo the process
The condition today is totally different as technology has
improved and the government invested highly in the sector of
education by improvement of learning technology as well as

Factors which fueled growth of education sector in America
Growth in education sector in America has not just
emerged from blues. Several factors led to what we are proud of
today, the modern education. The factors include but not limited
to: (Richardson & Watt, 2015)
The revolutionary war and democracy
The step taken in 1800’s which made education free hence
making it accessible to the whole society
Education being made mandatory
The growth of education did not emerge from nowhere. There
are a number of factors which have led to desire of education
These factors include
Revolutionary war, and democracy which created more interest
to be educated
Huge steps taken in the 1800’s like free education and
Education becoming mandatory
5
The requirements for teaching career
Like any other career, teaching career has its own
requirements set to ensure that the stakeholders in the field are
capable of delivering quality content to the learners. Sticking to
these minimal requirements has highly enhanced the quality of
education in America. A tertiary level education (BA or BS) is a
mandatory requirement for any person to qualify as a teacher.
With this requirement, the person is therefore required to obtain
a teaching permit which is an indication that he/she has been
approved as a teacher (Sage & Torp, 2014).
5. The pathway of this career also has its requirements. A
person must be an undergrad and major in subject are (math,
science, English or history). Having undertaken a credential
program and student teaching of 1-2 years is another pathway
requirement of this career (Sage & Torp, 2014).
6
conclusion
Education is very essential. It has been there for years.
Teachers have been playing a crucial part in all this. Teaching
is not easy and it’s not easy to achieve as well. You have to
work hard and being ready to be patient and helpful.

Economic Statistics
When trying to understand the health and trajectory of an
economy, why do you think macroeconomics focus on just a few
key statistics? Would it be better to try to examine all possible
data? Explain.

ECONOMIC GROWTH EASILY EXPLAINED
Female Speaker
Growth is everywhere. A tree grows from a seed to a plant. And
the economy grows, too. But how do we
measure economic growth?
7. The value of all the products manufactured and sold in a
country of the course of one year along with
everything that people do and get paid for, or that amounts to
the gross domestic product. When people earn
more money and then buy more products and services, the
economy grows.
Politicians also want to see the economy grow. That is why they
work toward achieving greater employment,
stable prices, and a balance between imported and exported
goods.
More growth means more money, but for whom? The common
belief that greater wealth means greater
prosperity for all does not reflect reality. It all depends on how
the money is distributed. Often when an
economy grows very quickly, that distribution is very unequal.
But is there a point when an economy has finally
matured?
The resources that industry requires to grow are limited and the
need for raw materials often does not take
nature into account. Since the 1970s, some economists have
been warning about the limits of growth. They
suggest that quality of life should also factor into the equation
along with material growth.
8. In Bhutan, a country in the Himalayas, that is already the case.
Their gross national happiness is measured. In
addition to income, it is made up of how healthy people and
nature are as well as the opportunities people
have in life and how at ease they feel in society. Economic
growth and contentment have the same value.
Germany is also discussing a new measure of prosperity with
some politicians calling for the inclusion of social
and ecological aspects. Even if we are still searching for a
solution, more and more people are starting to
understand that the economy can only grow over the long-term
if it also respects a person's basic means of
existence.

Participation Guidelines
Actively participate in discussions. To do this you should create
a substantive post for each of the
discussion topics. Each post should demonstrate your
achievement of the participation criteria. In
addition, you should also respond to the posts of at least two of
your fellow learners for each discussion
question-unless the discussion instructions state otherwise.
These responses to other learners should also
be substantive posts that contribute to the conversation by
asking questions, respectfully debating
positions, and presenting supporting information relevant to the
topic. Also, respond to any follow-up
questions the instructor directs to you in the discussion area.
To allow other learners time to respond, you are encouraged to
post your initial responses in the
13. discussion area by midweek. Comment to other learners' posts
are due by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. (Central
time zone).
