2. Functional Problems
 Anterior Pituitary Gland doesn’t produce enough
Human Growth Hormone causing hormone levels to
decrease which is why patients often are smaller in size

3. Symptoms
 Smaller than age level
 Younger looking faces
 Fat around abdomen
 Delay of Puberty
 Sexual development delay

4. diagnosis
 Physical Checkup
 Family back round check
 Blood Tests
 MRI
 X-rays

5. Treatment
 Injections
 Usually taken up until puberty
 In rare cases, shots are taken through and after puberty.

6. Prognosis
 Growth Hormone Deficiency is caused by a decrease in
production of the growth hormone in the anterior
pituitary gland. It is a non-life threatening deficiency
and can be easily pushed along.
