Film Industries
20th Century Fox

• The 20th Century Fox is place on a statue like

pedestal which shows that they’re powerful and
implies that the company has legendary status. The
background is dark like a cinema where films are
showed, also the lights in the background are
usually associated with celebrities.
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
MGM has a logo of a lion roaring out of a
gold crest that look like film strips, the
lion being the king of the animal
kingdom, the dominant creature saying
it’s the best of the best. Also people
associate the colour gold with
Wealth, power, prestigious
prosperity, wisdom and being king. Also
the lion connotes danger which give us
an in sight to who the target audience
maybe and what films they produce. The
film strips at the bottom suggest that this
company has been established a long
time ago because film strips were used in
old cameras and associate people with
the past
Summit
Summit also has a mountain in the
background which connotes simplicity , the
title is spaced out and clear to read
Three intuitions
• These four intuitional logs all have clouds as

backgrounds these clouds symbolizes
dreams, heaven, selestrial beauty and imagination
so when you’re in the cinema or watching a film it
tries to take you away from reality to a different
world, it’s like they’re out if this world and god like
Miramax
• Miramax is just simple black and white logo, the big white

writing is bold for people to see, the black background
and white title are really clear, for example in the cinema.

Both of these titles can disapprove the
audiences attention because the titles
have no imagination or colour
Universal:

• Universal has a picture of a

planet behind the title this
represents that they make films
worldwide and they’re shown
worldwide, the titles are in 3D like
they’re coming out at you, light is
being used to make certain
things stand out like the edge of
the planet (America). Also its in
space so it’s like it’s out of the
world, not in reality.
Warner bros

• In this company logo also used clouds in the background

which also symbolizes dreams, heaven, selestrial beauty
and imagination, the golden shield how strong and almighty
they are. The golden colour that they have used connotes
wealth and power that the company has, also their logo is 3D
which shows that they’re quite modern with technology.
