Name of Film: The Undercover Teacher

Film Proposal: A teacher by the name of john Edison had led a normal life ,
up until his brother (Steven Edison) a crime investigator approaches him, and
asks him to try and look into a secret drug operation within his school as the
case was closed, so on that miserable day he goes back to teach his English
class, with his most disruptive student Mike Young, a year 10 student with a
serious problem with going along with the rules, during the lesson he was
disruptive and rude so he was removed from the class, after lesson he did not
come back so the teacher went after him, upon finding him the student runs
away when caught up to the teacher grabs his hand to stop him from running
away, when grabbed the student falls dropping some of the contents of his bag
before getting away, leaving a few school items some gum and a note, the
teacher lets the student escape to see what the contents of the letter
contain. After reading the poorly written not it reads “meet us at Denton
4’oclock sharp don’t be late” knowing this the teacher then attempts to listen
in on the gathering. When arriving he see that’s the student is there with a man
in a suit, then on the other side is another man in a suit with a henchman, they
appear to be doing a trade a bag, most likely with drugs and a briefcase with
unknown contents, when the trade is done they realise the money in the
briefcase is fake the deal goes wrong and the guy brings out a weapon covered
by a black plastic bag, john steps into action to ensure the pupil doesn’t get
hurt he grabs the gun and the pupil and man scatter while the other men are
shocked when he uncovers the bag it is simply a banana by that point they are
running away. When speaking to his brother about the situation he is told to
keep on gaining evidence and look into the case more by finding the boy
involved in the trafficking of drugs so he then steadily agrees to do so and then
leaves to go home ready for more undercover work in the morning. On the next
day he sees the boy at the end of the corridor and then proceeds to follow him
to see what he was up to, when following the boy goes into a music room, he
then goes to the drum kit then out of the large drum he takes out a plastic bag
with drugs in it before putting it in his schoolbag then leaving. He then begins
to follow the boy until he reaches a another drop off point, the boy hides the
drugs in a bush before leaving, he then retrieves the drugs then returning to his
brother giving more evidence against the operation. For one last task he is told
to find the operation leader and get him caught he talks to the boy and gets
him to admit where the next meeting will take place, when rigged with a wire
and police on standby ready to move in he takes the place of the boy and gets
ready to bust the meeting when it goes wrong and they try to escape a chase
goes down and the leader in finally caught, we congratulated by his brother he
says there is only one thing left to do, catch the other gang leader….
Trailer Proposal: It starts off with the introduction
to the main character, and shows some scenes of
him working as a teacher, then a phone call from
his brother, then a scene of him talking to his
brother. They are now backing in school and it is a
scene with his very troubled pupil being removed
from the class. Then a scene of him grabbing the
pupil and them falling then him reading the note,(
there could also be some black screens with text
on it) then him getting caught at the meeting, then
him talking to his boss, then some with the
student passing the drugs to someone else, then
more running scenes, then the last clip will be him
with him holding a gun in a bag but then
uncovering it to be a banana.
