15. Nursing Management
1- Administer prescribed medication , which
include broad-spectrum antibiotics.
2- Provide pain relief . apply heat to the
perineum and encourage hot tub baths.
3- Promote measures to prevent infection .
4- Promote measures to maintain fluid and
electrolyte balance .
16. Prevention of Urinary Tract Infection
• Drink sufficient amounts of water on a regular
basis and a daily output of bacteria and wash the
urethra.
• urinate immediately if feeling the need to urinate
• Go to the bathroom and get rid of the urine
before going to bed sleep.
