This document discusses four projects at the University of Southern Queensland aimed at providing access to higher education for incarcerated students using a modified version of Moodle, named Stand Alone Moodle (SAM), which does not require internet access. The projects focus on addressing the digital divide faced by incarcerated individuals, primarily through the implementation of SAM and the use of eBook readers. Future developments are planned to adapt educational programs specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in correctional facilities across Australia.
