  Prom Rescue Centre
National launch focusing on the trend for the lavish expenditure on teen proms. Parents despair
over cost (Daily Mail Headline) and teens at a loss what to wear: Cherry Vimto to the rescue with
partnership with Mizz Magazine and a micro site devoted to all things Prom. Cherry Vimto seeded
to proms and limo-hire companies across the land.

* Eco-chic shopping with Peaches Geldof
Plastic bags are so last season. This campaign put the chic into eco and saw the first ever reusable bag
designed for a shopping centre. Fido asked Peaches Geldof to create the design to support an
environmental cause close to her heart.
This campaign resulted in masses of coverage, sales of the bag funded the promotion and raised
money for Peaches’ turtles charity and attracted a 10% increase in footfall against expected loss
to another shopping centre opening.

For the girl who has everything and
wants to keep it that way
Fido teamed up with Harvey Nichols to create the world’s first Pre-nup package to launch a new family
law firm. Timed to coincide with a landmark legal ruling, the PR generated widespread national media
coverage including an interview on the BBC’s One Show.
This campaign was selected to appear in Marketeer Magazine’s Tap into the News Agenda feature and PR
Week’s campaign gallery. It has also directly resulted in the client landing an international landmark case.

Shopping is Good for you
This campaign presented a positive story for retailers to counter the downbeat mood of the credit
crunch. Fido worked with the local NHS PCT to get shoppers to sign up to a fitness programme.
Manchester University compiled a factual report on how many calories can be burnt whilst shopping.
This story hit the national headlines and created talkability across broadcast and social media,
including a discussion on BBC Breakfast.

Danni vs Cheryl in the name of fashion
Fido’s campaign for a national online fashion retailer capitalised on the Cheryl vs Danni
style rivalry to create a campaign that delivered masses of national coverage, viral buzz
and an unprecedented surge in online sales. The limited edition T-shirts also became
the best selling items on the website during X-Factor.
Getting Vimto seen in all the right places
Fido’s job is to get Vimto into the hands of the teen influencers. Big wins to date include an appearance
in the hands of X-Factor’s Cher Lloyd papped at the peak of the programme; on air chat from
guests appearing on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man; The Wanted taking Vimto on tour and Tweeting non-stop
about it; Paddy McGuinness and Peter Kay sharing their love; it goes on...

Fido is currently creating a buzz with It’s Hot up North, an integrated media seeding campaign
advocating the virtues of Vimto served hot.
Branding Manchester’s loyalty
Fido’s consumer-facing fundraising campaign for the Community Foundation resulted in the
charity adopting Forever Manchester identity across the whole organisation. The brand appeals
to a new consumer audience for the charity which had until now relied upon corporate
donations. This campaign has successfully influenced a new generation of philanthropists.
