INTRASYS ACTIVE RFID ASSET TRACKING
Customer currently performs warehousing operations using manual logging
procedures that include Receiving, Put-away, Picking, Packing, Shipping and Loading.
These steps are prone to errors, time consuming, and does not provide timely update
of correct inventory. In addition, it is not able to prevent shipping of wrong inventory
to customers.
Intrasys Rack Management Solution for Forklift will allow Customer to cut down costly
warehouse procedures using RFID scanners attached to Forklifts. It will allow
operators to confirm the correctness of the inventory instantly, allow the
management to have maximum inventory visibility in real time and prevent costly
inventory mistakes for shipment.

• Intrasys RFID Rack Management Solution solves the problem in
warehouses by implementing RFID gantries or RFID forklift solutions.The
solution will generally improve warehouse operations in various ways as
such:
• Automatic verification and tracking of pallets
• Full visibility of entire warehouse in real-time
• Provide real-time feedback to the driver (invalid location, emergency movement,
confirmation, etc.)
• Automates scanning and labor intensive procedures
• Error proofs the shipping process

The Asset Creation process ensures that all your inventory are equipped with
RFID tags.With the tags in place with the right inventory, all tagged items can be
tracked within the operation scope.This is case, the inventory to be tagged are
pallets.
1. Operator will create a Pallet item from SH-INV System and sends Pallet
information to RMS
2. RMS receives information to create and displays a list of Pallets to be created
3. Operator puts a RFID tag on the reader to write Pallet ID into the tag and
marks tag creation as complete.
4. RMS sends a completion confirmation to SH-INV System.

OP.ILLUSTRATION:RECEIVINGOFGOODS
1. SH-ERP creates and sends job of receiving to ISS-RMS.
2. Forklift driver accepts jobs by pressing “Receiving” button on ISS-RMS-
FL.The earliest job created is automatically accept when the button is
pressed. Instructions are displayed on ISS-RMS-FL.
• Example: Receiving Pallet 1.

3. Forklift driver moves to pick up Pallet 1

4. ISS-RMS-FL reads Pallet 1 and shows that Pallet 1 has been picked up.
5. Forklift driver moves to put Pallet 1 onto Rack 1 Level 1

6. ISS-RMS-FL detects it as inserting Pallet 1 into Rack 1 Level 1
7. Forklift moves out of warehouse and presses “Finish” button.

8. ISS-RMS-FL synchronizes movement made by the Forklift with the server
database.
9. ISS-RMS-FL sends position of Pallet 1 to SH-ERP

1. SH-ERP creates and sends job of picking to ISS-RMS.
2. Forklift driver accepts jobs by pressing “Picking” button on ISS-RMS-FL.
The earliest job created is automatically accept when the button is

• Example: Picking Pallet 1 from Rack 1 Level 1.

5. Forklift driver moves away from Rack 1 Level 1.

6. ISS-RMS-FL detects it as removing Pallet 1 from Rack 1 Level 1

database.
9. ISS-RMS-FL sends confirmation of Pallet 1 being picked.

1. Forklift Driver beings movement of goods by pressing on “Movement/
Transfer” button

2. Forklift moves into Pallet 1 on Rack 1 Level 1, ISS-RMS-FL reads all 3 information.

3. Forklift lifts Pallet 1 and moves away from Rack
4. ISS-RMS-FL detects it as removal of Pallet 1 from Rack 1 Level 1.

5. Forklift while holding Pallet 1, moves into Rack 2 Level 1.

6. ISS-RMS-FL detects it as inserting of Pallet 1 to Rack 2 Level 1.

Shipping/Loading allows the operator to match the pallet to the delivery
order, providing a confirmation of right pallet prior to be loaded and
shipped.
