Overall: To review the activities of animal health networks (RESEPI, RESOLAB & CVOs)
To deliberate on the report of assessment of accreditation structures of veterinary drugs/biologicals
To review and validate the African swine fever project plan
To develop mechanism of collaboration for the prevention and control of emerging and re-emerging zoonosis
To develop a framework for operationalization of epi-surveillance, lab, and CVO network
To review the terms of reference for the establishment of Animal Production network

7. Conclusion
Strengthening and coordination of the ECOWAS networks for efficiency is
important for food and nutritional security, income generation and wealth
creation.
Continuing support and building partnerships for strengthening Networks
will be helpful
Continued peer review and prompt information exchange among MS is
essential as early warning is necessary for early action
There is need for inter-professional and inter-agency collaboration for
disease prevention and control
