Hunter Gatherer Diet Essay
Purpose Statement My essay, "The Immediate Effect Diet has on Your Microbiome," will be
presented to my classmates and instructor Jaime Astacio. It is a summary and response to Tim
Spector's article, "What a Hunter–Gatherer Diet does to the Body in Just Three Days." This will be a
class discussion and I would greatly appreciate constructive feedback from my peers. The topic
explores health and well–being, which is very relevant today due visible social standards. Tim's
editorial takes place in Tanzania, where there is a vast variety of plant and animal species the Hadza
tribe survive on. Although very geographically different from where we call home, the piece
suggests that reconnecting with nature might just be what we all need. ... Show more content on

High diversity is associated with a low risk of obesity and many diseases." He and a colleague
wanted to do an experiment to see if intestinal health could improve in just a few days, so they set
off to Tanzania to hunt and gather with the Hadza tribe. The Hadza are one of the last groups of
hunter–gatherers in Africa Sparks 2 and they have a very diverse microbiome. During the study,
they foraged for baobab fruit and kongorobi berries, which are high in fiber and vitamin C. They
also stalked and killed porcupines and hyrax which they cooked over a fire. Meat, carcass, and
organs were eaten, nothing of nutritional value is wasted. They dug tubers from the ground and
collected honey from a comb on a tree branch. There were many perils during the trip. Aside from
bee stings and sharp porcupine needles, they had to be wary of snakes and scorpions. The meals they
dined on may not have been the tastiest, but they were packed with vitamins and antioxidants.
Throughout the adventure, Tim was producing stool samples that would be analyzed for microbe
diversity when they returned home three days later. What they found was shocking. "The good news
was my gut microbial diversity increased 20%, including totally novel African microbes. The bad
news was, after just a few days, they returned to where they were before the trip." Their

We are aware to the luxury of fashion affects our daily lifestyle. That's why we came up to an idea
of making organic resources more useful by inventing a new fragrance that will assure you a new
unique scent. Our main of resource is the organic pee urine which can be content on making new
tone of perfume together with its essential and fragrance oils and experience some exotic and
unusual aromas from other original and unique sources. We'll prove to you that Science can create a

* Flowers and blossoms: Undoubtedly the largest source of aromatics. Includes the flowers of
several species of rose and jasmine, as well as osmanthus, plumeria, mimosa, tuberose, narcissus,
scented geranium, cassie, ambrette as well as the blossoms of citrus and ylang–ylang trees. Although
not traditionally thought of as a flower, the unopened flower buds of the clove are also commonly
used. Most orchid flowers are not commercially used to produce essential oils or absolutes, except
in the case of vanilla, an orchid, which must be pollinated first and made into seed pods before use
in perfumery. * Fruits: Fresh fruits such as apples, strawberries, cherries unfortunately do not yield
the expected odors when extracted; if such fragrance notes are found in a perfume, they are
synthetic. Notable exceptions include litsea cubeba, vanilla, and juniper berry. The most commonly
used fruits yield their aromatics from the rind; they include citrus such as oranges, lemons, and
limes. Although grapefruit rind is still used for aromatics, more and more commercially used
grapefruit aromatics are artificially synthesized since the natural aromatic contains sulfur and its
degradation product is quite unpleasant in smell. * Leaves and twigs: Commonly used for perfumery
are lavender leaf, patchouli, sage, violets, rosemary, and citrus leaves. Sometimes leaves are valued
for the "green"

The phylogeny described in this paper is based on molecular data (similarities in DNA sequences)
10. Based on that phylogeny, write in the sister taxon (taxon A) to Proboscidea.
Give the formal name.
Taxon A or Sirenia Proboscidea
11. Write in the taxon (taxon B) that is sister to the clade composed of (Proboscidea + Taxon A).
Give formal name
Taxon B or Taxon A Proboscidea Hyracoidea
12. Perform an internet search for these two taxa and find out their common names.
What are their common names? Describe each.
The common name for Sirenia is Sea Cow. Sea cows are fully aquatic, herbivorous mammals that
appear fat. They have forelimbs used for steering and a tail used for paddling. The common name
for Hyracoidea are hyraxes. Hyraxes are well–furred animals with short tails and have poor internal
temperature regulation.
What was your thought/reaction upon discovering what these creatures are?
My thought reaction was how can animals that look nothing alike be similar to an elephant if they
visually look different.
Believe it or not, there are morphological (phenotypic) similarities as well as dietary and behavioral
similarities between all of these taxa. BEFORE molecular data was available, scientists already
suspected that these groups were

Judaism And Christianity Similarities
Christianity and Judaism are two of the most famous of the global religions. They are famous rather
than large because although roughly thirty–two percent of the world is christian, there are a mere 5.7
millions Jews. With the population of the world around 7 billion people, that would make roughly
2.2 billion Christians. The strange thing about these two religions is the fact that they have a
common root that went in very different directions.
The most overarching similarity between Christianity and Judaism is that they focus on almost the
same god. Their god is unique, transcendental, not subject to the rules of nature, all good, all
powerful, all knowing and the one true god. The major difference between the Christian version of
this god and the Jewish version of this god is that the Christian version is considered to be three
"persons," otherwise known as the trinity. The trinity consists of God the Father, the Son, Jesus
Christ, and the Holy Spirit, sometimes referred to as the Holy Ghost. Judaism does not believe in
this trinity and instead sees God as one being.
A second important similarity is Christianity uses the Jewish holy texts, called the Five Books of
Moses or the Torah. They took these books and made them into what they call the Old Testament of
their holy book, The Bible. This also means that the creation story is shared between both religions.
They both believe that, according to the text, everything was created out of nothing in six days by

Transition Of The Mukogodo Tribe
Deep in the Mukogodo forest located in west central Kenya is where you will find the last of the
Mukogodo people. Throughout history there have been significant changes for the Mukogodo
people as they try to transition their culture and ethnicity to be Maasai. Before the transition in the
early 1920's to Maasai, Mukogodos were foraging, bee keeping people with their language, Yaaku,
and lived in rock caves. Now they are pastoralists who speak only Maa, and no longer live in caves.
Sadly even after all the changes they have made, Mukogodos are still not accepted as Maasai and
are viewed as the bottom rung of the regional hierarchy. Before the transition to follow the Maasai
culture, the Mukogodos were foragers whose diet consisted of only proteins

Anthropology 8 – Archeology: Introduction
Dr. Acabado

27 October 2014
Abstract
This paper compares two articles that talk about archeological findings in southern Africa and how
they can be used to research and discover how anatomically modern humans might have behaved
one hundred thousand years ago. The artifacts recovered, which included animal fossils and old
tools, can help us infer about their diets and lifestyles. In addition, the changing ecosystem is also
looked at to see how it may have affected the ancestral humans ' behaviors.

The artifacts and patterns are analyzed to predict what might have happened with the early humans
and whether they are indicative or not of early human behavior. The different artifacts have been
through different events, and they are the first steps to tracing the history of early humans. At
PP13B, shells of different types of shellfish can be found, many of which are clustered together. The
cluster of many seashells within that area signifies that there were people around. Since the site is
within ten kilometers away from the coast, our ancestors probably went scavenging to bring back
whatever shellfish they could find. It is believed that the adaptation to seafood allowed ancestral
humans to disperse and expand along the shores. At the site, one would find an abundant amount of
both whole and fragmented shells. At Sibudu Cave, archeologists have found many complex tools
made of both stone and bone and have analyzed the pattern in the animals living in the area from
when the HP transitioned to the post–HP. Stone and bone points, as well some projectile weapons,
have been found at the site. Also, with regard to the animal patterns, "small game such as molerat,
hyrax, and hare occur[ed] more commonly in the HP while large grazing animals are more frequent
in the post–HP MSA" (Clark 2011). After collecting the above data,

Exodus Summary Sparknotes
Exodus Summary
Exodus is the second book of the Bible. Exodus follows after Jacob and his family arrived in Egypt
and after Joseph died. After Joseph died the new Egyptian pharaoh began to realize that the Israelite
population was on the rise and oppressed them by making them slaves. The story of Exodus follows
the oppression of the Israelites, Rise of Moses, The Exodus, and Mount Sinai. After Joseph died the
new Egyptian pharaoh began to realize that the Israelite population was on the rise and oppressed
them by making them slaves. As a result of being slaves and beginning to populate Egypt the
Egyptians decided to kill all the firstborn Israelite male babies. The only one to escape this massacre
was Moses who's mother put him in a basket and put him in the water. He was then found by
Pharaoh's daughter and she saved him and treated him as if he was her own son. As a result of the
event of having been enslaved and having their male children killed the Israelites cried out to God
and he heard them. God calls Moses to be the Israelites deliverer. This is a man who ran from Egypt
because he killed an Egyptian and was content to spend his life as a shepherd. But God had different
plans for Moses because the Lord uses the most imperfect people and empowers them to do his will.
The Lord met with Moses and called him to deliver his people but Moses wanted to argue with God
because Moses did not believe he was the right choice. Moses argued he was not the best choice
because

Wash Out Effect Essay
Various factors have been suggested, such as systematic decline along the hair shaft, systematic
variation among body regions or external contamination through sweat. This study attempts to fill
those methodical gaps of HCC assessment in chimpanzees. The washout effect fact has been
observed in several human studies. It was initially suggested that structural damage of distal hair
segments may permit liquids like water and cosmetics or alcohol to clean the samples before
analysis to penetrate and washout hair cortisol more easily. This would be reflected in decreasing
HCC from skin–near to distal part to the hair. The waning effect maybe more appropriate than the
traditional term washout effect, which is meant to indicate the leaching of cortisol by water. This is
because cortisol may not only leech from hair shaft but it also may be could degrade it ... Show

This is consistent with the idea that typical point estimates provided by plasma or saliva
measurement are driven at least in part by the same underlying constitutive differences and pituitary
adrenocortical activity that contribute to the values obtained from hair sampling. Another likely
factor in the relationship is that hair, like saliva, is thought to incorporate only free unbound
fractional cortisol from the bloodstream. Davenport et al 2006 These authors have found the
correlation between hair cortisol and salivary cortisol in monkeys. Meyer & Novak 2012 This
approach should be thought of as complementary to measurements of salivary and or plasma court
not as replacement cost of such markers. Meyer et al 2014 An increasing body of evidence has
shown that hair cortisol levels reflect systemic plasma levels of the hormone over time, allow– ing
estimation of chronic stress, both psychological and physio–logical, as well as disorders of the
hypothalamic–pituitary– adrenal axis, including Cushing syndrom and Addison's disease

The Survival of the Rock Hyrax in Urban Areas
RATIONALE Urbanisation poses a threat to wildlife through habitat destruction and population
fragmentation. As a consequence, urbanisation alters the distribution of species. Yet, urbanisation
creates opportunities for some species to thrive and persist in the urban jungle. Many species have
adapted to urban areas across the globe. However, not all animals living in urban areas adapt to
urban life and instead might be confined to refugia that match the pre–existing adaptation to natural
conditions. Therefore, studying the occurrence and persistence of wildlife in urban areas might
provide an understanding how some species can survive urbanisation (Chace & Walsh 2006; Sih
2013; Sol et al. 2013; Fontúrbel & Tarifa 2013). Wildlife can become pests in urban areas. For
invasive species, these conflicts arise because they exploit newly available niches. For example,
cane toads, Bufo marinus, in Australia, red foxes, Vulpes vulpes, across the globe, and grey
squirrels, Sciurus carolinensis, in Britain (Barr et al. 2002; Saunders et al. 2010; Bateman &
Fleming 2012). However, for indigenous species, these conflicts can arise through habituation to
people which could lead to these species being viewed as pests due to their behaviours conflicting
with human interests. For example, European badgers, Meles meles, in British residential properties
during foraging and sett construction (Ward et al. 2008). My study is concerned with establishing
how species can survive in urban

Ancient Africa Research Paper
Africa is the world's oldest inhabited continent, filled with the richest recourses and perhaps the
richest history. However, in order to truly understand Africa's amazing culture and society, we must
first start at the very beginning. We must first look at how Africa came about, why it looks the way
it does and why it's location makes it such a unique place.
Before the continent of Africa existed, the earth was comprised of just one single supercontinent
called Pangaea. To understand how Pangaea was formed we first look at how the earth was formed.
Billions of years ago our solar system was made up of nothing more than dust particles. The
explosion of a nearby star caused these dust particles to form a solar nebula (a huge spinning disk).

Hyrax Tusky: Case Study
Patient: A 20 year old, 7.7# (3.5 kg), intact female Rock Hyrax "Tusky". She was brought to the
attention of the Animal Health Care staff of the Kansas City Zoo by her keepers when they noticed
Tusky had be isolating herself from the others and not eating as well as she had in the past. "Tusky"
presented with behavioral abnormalities and a persistent weight loss since the beginning of March
2015, by June, she had lost 600 grams.
Upon the initial look at the Hyrax, she did not seem to care if we were there. Contrary to the normal
Hyrax behavior, "Tusky" made no efforts to runs away and hide, and allowed the keepers to catch
her up and restrain her for her exam. Once caught up, she was given an exam and nothing seemed
physically out of place. Fluids and antibiotics were given and blood was drawn for a glucose reading
because these animals are prone to diabetes because of the fruit and vegetables they are given.
Blood was also to be sent out to Antech for a complete blood count (CBC), and blood chemistry.
The tests came back and nothing seemed to stick out. Her glucose level was slightly elevated but not
enough to cause the lethargia and inappetence she was exhibiting. Dr. Brian Stockinger told the
keepers to keep an eye on her and watch for developing signs or signs of improvement. A few days

Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC): MCC Architecture The figure below shows the basic model of
the mobile cloud computing. The cell phones are joined with the mobile systems through base
stations (e.g., base station, access point, or satellite) that establish and control the associations and
practical interfaces between the systems and cell phones. Mobile clients' requests and data (e.g., ID
and area) are transmitted to the central processors that are associated with servers giving mobile
system services. Here, mobile system administrators can give services to mobile clients as
authentication, authorization, and bookkeeping focused around the home agents and subscribers'
information stored in databases. After that, the subscribers' requests are conveyed to a cloud through
the Internet. In the cloud, cloud controllers service these requests to furnish mobile clients with the
corresponding cloud services. These services are developed with the ideas of utility processing,
virtualization, and service–oriented architecture (e.g., web, application, and database servers).
Advantages: Mobile devices are very much constrained in terms of storage, battery life and
computational abilities. Mobile cloud computing comes in handy, to resolve these problems. It
offers numerous advantages to the end–users on personal and business–level.

Hunter Gatherer Diet Essay

  • 1. Hunter Gatherer Diet Essay Purpose Statement My essay, "The Immediate Effect Diet has on Your Microbiome," will be presented to my classmates and instructor Jaime Astacio. It is a summary and response to Tim Spector's article, "What a Hunter–Gatherer Diet does to the Body in Just Three Days." This will be a class discussion and I would greatly appreciate constructive feedback from my peers. The topic explores health and well–being, which is very relevant today due visible social standards. Tim's editorial takes place in Tanzania, where there is a vast variety of plant and animal species the Hadza tribe survive on. Although very geographically different from where we call home, the piece suggests that reconnecting with nature might just be what we all need. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... High diversity is associated with a low risk of obesity and many diseases." He and a colleague wanted to do an experiment to see if intestinal health could improve in just a few days, so they set off to Tanzania to hunt and gather with the Hadza tribe. The Hadza are one of the last groups of hunter–gatherers in Africa Sparks 2 and they have a very diverse microbiome. During the study, they foraged for baobab fruit and kongorobi berries, which are high in fiber and vitamin C. They also stalked and killed porcupines and hyrax which they cooked over a fire. Meat, carcass, and organs were eaten, nothing of nutritional value is wasted. They dug tubers from the ground and collected honey from a comb on a tree branch. There were many perils during the trip. Aside from bee stings and sharp porcupine needles, they had to be wary of snakes and scorpions. The meals they dined on may not have been the tastiest, but they were packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Throughout the adventure, Tim was producing stool samples that would be analyzed for microbe diversity when they returned home three days later. What they found was shocking. "The good news was my gut microbial diversity increased 20%, including totally novel African microbes. The bad news was, after just a few days, they returned to where they were before the trip." Includes the flowers of several species of rose and jasmine, as well as osmanthus, plumeria, mimosa, tuberose, narcissus, scented geranium, cassie, ambrette as well as the blossoms of citrus and ylang–ylang trees. Although not traditionally thought of as a flower, the unopened flower buds of the clove are also commonly used. Most orchid flowers are not commercially used to produce essential oils or absolutes, except in the case of vanilla, an orchid, which must be pollinated first and made into seed pods before use in perfumery. * Fruits: Fresh fruits such as apples, strawberries, cherries unfortunately do not yield the expected odors when extracted; if such fragrance notes are found in a perfume, they are synthetic. Notable exceptions include litsea cubeba, vanilla, and juniper berry. The most commonly used fruits yield their aromatics from the rind; they include citrus such as oranges, lemons, and limes. Although grapefruit rind is still used for aromatics, more and more commercially used grapefruit aromatics are artificially synthesized since the natural aromatic contains sulfur and its degradation product is quite unpleasant in smell. * Leaves and twigs: Commonly used for perfumery are lavender leaf, patchouli, sage, violets, rosemary, and citrus leaves. My thought reaction was how can animals that look nothing alike be similar to an elephant if they visually look different. • 8. Judaism And Christianity Similarities Christianity and Judaism are two of the most famous of the global religions. They are famous rather than large because although roughly thirty–two percent of the world is christian, there are a mere 5.7 millions Jews. With the population of the world around 7 billion people, that would make roughly 2.2 billion Christians. The strange thing about these two religions is the fact that they have a common root that went in very different directions. The most overarching similarity between Christianity and Judaism is that they focus on almost the same god. Their god is unique, transcendental, not subject to the rules of nature, all good, all powerful, all knowing and the one true god. The major difference between the Christian version of this god and the Jewish version of this god is that the Christian version is considered to be three "persons," otherwise known as the trinity. The trinity consists of God the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, sometimes referred to as the Holy Ghost. Judaism does not believe in this trinity and instead sees God as one being. A second important similarity is Christianity uses the Jewish holy texts, called the Five Books of Moses or the Torah. They took these books and made them into what they call the Old Testament of their holy book, The Bible. This also means that the creation story is shared between both religions. They both believe that, according to the text, everything was created out of nothing in six days by God and on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Throughout history there have been significant changes for the Mukogodo people as they try to transition their culture and ethnicity to be Maasai. Before the transition in the early 1920's to Maasai, Mukogodos were foraging, bee keeping people with their language, Yaaku, and lived in rock caves. Now they are pastoralists who speak only Maa, and no longer live in caves. Sadly even after all the changes they have made, Mukogodos are still not accepted as Maasai and are viewed as the bottom rung of the regional hierarchy. Modern Human Behavior: Clues Gathered From Shellfish, Game, and Tool Remains Anthropology 8 – Archeology: Introduction Dr. Acabado Andy Huang 27 October 2014 Abstract This paper compares two articles that talk about archeological findings in southern Africa and how they can be used to research and discover how anatomically modern humans might have behaved one hundred thousand years ago. The artifacts recovered, which included animal fossils and old tools, can help us infer about their diets and lifestyles. In addition, the changing ecosystem is also looked at to see how it may have affected the ancestral humans ' behaviors. The artifacts and patterns are analyzed to predict what might have happened with the early humans and whether they are indicative or not of early human behavior. The different artifacts have been through different events, and they are the first steps to tracing the history of early humans. At PP13B, shells of different types of shellfish can be found, many of which are clustered together. The cluster of many seashells within that area signifies that there were people around. Since the site is within ten kilometers away from the coast, our ancestors probably went scavenging to bring back whatever shellfish they could find. It is believed that the adaptation to seafood allowed ancestral humans to disperse and expand along the shores. At the site, one would find an abundant amount of both whole and fragmented shells. At Sibudu Cave, archeologists have found many complex tools made of both stone and bone and have analyzed the pattern in the animals living in the area from when the HP transitioned to the post–HP. Stone and bone points, as well some projectile weapons, have been found at the site. Also, with regard to the animal patterns, "small game such as molerat, hyrax, and hare occur[ed] more commonly in the HP while large grazing animals are more frequent in the post–HP MSA" (Clark 2011). • 18. Exodus Summary Sparknotes Exodus Summary Exodus is the second book of the Bible. Exodus follows after Jacob and his family arrived in Egypt and after Joseph died. After Joseph died the new Egyptian pharaoh began to realize that the Israelite population was on the rise and oppressed them by making them slaves. The story of Exodus follows the oppression of the Israelites, Rise of Moses, The Exodus, and Mount Sinai. After Joseph died the new Egyptian pharaoh began to realize that the Israelite population was on the rise and oppressed them by making them slaves. As a result of being slaves and beginning to populate Egypt the Egyptians decided to kill all the firstborn Israelite male babies. The only one to escape this massacre was Moses who's mother put him in a basket and put him in the water. He was then found by Pharaoh's daughter and she saved him and treated him as if he was her own son. As a result of the event of having been enslaved and having their male children killed the Israelites cried out to God and he heard them. God calls Moses to be the Israelites deliverer. This is a man who ran from Egypt because he killed an Egyptian and was content to spend his life as a shepherd. But God had different plans for Moses because the Lord uses the most imperfect people and empowers them to do his will. The Lord met with Moses and called him to deliver his people but Moses wanted to argue with God because Moses did not believe he was the right choice. Moses argued he was not the best choice because ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 20. Wash Out Effect Essay Various factors have been suggested, such as systematic decline along the hair shaft, systematic variation among body regions or external contamination through sweat. This study attempts to fill those methodical gaps of HCC assessment in chimpanzees. The washout effect fact has been observed in several human studies. It was initially suggested that structural damage of distal hair segments may permit liquids like water and cosmetics or alcohol to clean the samples before analysis to penetrate and washout hair cortisol more easily. This would be reflected in decreasing HCC from skin–near to distal part to the hair. The waning effect maybe more appropriate than the traditional term washout effect, which is meant to indicate the leaching of cortisol by water. This is because cortisol may not only leech from hair shaft but it also may be could degrade it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is consistent with the idea that typical point estimates provided by plasma or saliva measurement are driven at least in part by the same underlying constitutive differences and pituitary adrenocortical activity that contribute to the values obtained from hair sampling. Another likely factor in the relationship is that hair, like saliva, is thought to incorporate only free unbound fractional cortisol from the bloodstream. Davenport et al 2006 These authors have found the correlation between hair cortisol and salivary cortisol in monkeys. Meyer & Novak 2012 This approach should be thought of as complementary to measurements of salivary and or plasma court not as replacement cost of such markers. Meyer et al 2014 An increasing body of evidence has shown that hair cortisol levels reflect systemic plasma levels of the hormone over time, allow– ing estimation of chronic stress, both psychological and physio–logical, as well as disorders of the hypothalamic–pituitary– adrenal axis, including Cushing syndrom and Addison's disease ... • 22. The Survival of the Rock Hyrax in Urban Areas RATIONALE Urbanisation poses a threat to wildlife through habitat destruction and population fragmentation. As a consequence, urbanisation alters the distribution of species. Yet, urbanisation creates opportunities for some species to thrive and persist in the urban jungle. Many species have adapted to urban areas across the globe. However, not all animals living in urban areas adapt to urban life and instead might be confined to refugia that match the pre–existing adaptation to natural conditions. Therefore, studying the occurrence and persistence of wildlife in urban areas might provide an understanding how some species can survive urbanisation (Chace & Walsh 2006; Sih 2013; Sol et al. 2013; Fontúrbel & Tarifa 2013). Wildlife can become pests in urban areas. For invasive species, these conflicts arise because they exploit newly available niches. For example, cane toads, Bufo marinus, in Australia, red foxes, Vulpes vulpes, across the globe, and grey squirrels, Sciurus carolinensis, in Britain (Barr et al. 2002; Saunders et al. 2010; Bateman & Fleming 2012). However, for indigenous species, these conflicts can arise through habituation to people which could lead to these species being viewed as pests due to their behaviours conflicting with human interests. For example, European badgers, Meles meles, in British residential properties during foraging and sett construction (Ward et al. 2008). My study is concerned with establishing how species can survive in urban ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 24. Ancient Africa Research Paper Africa is the world's oldest inhabited continent, filled with the richest recourses and perhaps the richest history. However, in order to truly understand Africa's amazing culture and society, we must first start at the very beginning. We must first look at how Africa came about, why it looks the way it does and why it's location makes it such a unique place. Before the continent of Africa existed, the earth was comprised of just one single supercontinent called Pangaea. To understand how Pangaea was formed we first look at how the earth was formed. Billions of years ago our solar system was made up of nothing more than dust particles. The explosion of a nearby star caused these dust particles to form a solar nebula (a huge spinning disk). ... She was brought to the attention of the Animal Health Care staff of the Kansas City Zoo by her keepers when they noticed Tusky had be isolating herself from the others and not eating as well as she had in the past. "Tusky" presented with behavioral abnormalities and a persistent weight loss since the beginning of March 2015, by June, she had lost 600 grams. Upon the initial look at the Hyrax, she did not seem to care if we were there. Contrary to the normal Hyrax behavior, "Tusky" made no efforts to runs away and hide, and allowed the keepers to catch her up and restrain her for her exam. Once caught up, she was given an exam and nothing seemed physically out of place. Fluids and antibiotics were given and blood was drawn for a glucose reading because these animals are prone to diabetes because of the fruit and vegetables they are given. Blood was also to be sent out to Antech for a complete blood count (CBC), and blood chemistry. The tests came back and nothing seemed to stick out. Her glucose level was slightly elevated but not enough to cause the lethargia and inappetence she was exhibiting. Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC): MCC Architecture The figure below shows the basic model of the mobile cloud computing. The cell phones are joined with the mobile systems through base stations (e.g., base station, access point, or satellite) that establish and control the associations and practical interfaces between the systems and cell phones. Mobile clients' requests and data (e.g., ID and area) are transmitted to the central processors that are associated with servers giving mobile system services. Here, mobile system administrators can give services to mobile clients as authentication, authorization, and bookkeeping focused around the home agents and subscribers' information stored in databases. After that, the subscribers' requests are conveyed to a cloud through the Internet. In the cloud, cloud controllers service these requests to furnish mobile clients with the corresponding cloud services. These services are developed with the ideas of utility processing, virtualization, and service–oriented architecture (e.g., web, application, and database servers). Advantages: Mobile devices are very much constrained in terms of storage, battery life and computational abilities. Mobile cloud computing comes in handy, to resolve these problems. It offers numerous advantages to the end–users on personal and business–level. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
