Syllabus For Psychological Analysis
Final Presentation Students will thoroughly answer the following course objectives: 1. Discuss the
meaning and uses of assessment in various fields. These are instruments used to measure how much
of a specific psychological construct an individual has. Psychological tests are used to assess many
areas, including: 1. Traits such as introversion and extroversion 2. Certain conditions such as
depression and anxiety 3. Intelligence, aptitude and achievement such as verbal intelligence and
reading achievement 4. Attitudes and feelings such as how individuals feel about the treatment that
they received from their therapists 5. Interest such as the careers and activities that a person is
interested in 6. Specific abilities, knowledge or skills ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Subjective assessment is a form of questioning which may have more than one correct answer
and/or more than one way of expressing the correct answer, whereas opinion might in addition to–
also consist of unsubstantiated information, in contrast to knowledge and fact–based beliefs. Some
have argued that the distinction between objective and subjective assessments is neither useful nor
accurate because, in reality, there is no such thing as "objective" assessment. In fact, all assessments
are created with inherent biases built into decisions about the relevant subject matter and content, as
well as cultural (class, ethnic, and gender)

Childhood Psychological Analysis
Currently, I am 20 years old and married with the frequent thought on having my own children in
very near future. However, my parents are reminders of a couple without trust and a healthy
relationship who had children they couldn't care for. The result of their relationship, the endless
amount of emotional traumatizing and life alternating mistakes with their children and each other
that still have an effect for years to come. I'll probably raise the children isolation from the extended
family for the majority of their early years for sake of their malleable minds not being marred by my
brutal father's side or the drug addicts offspring that is my mom's side of my family. Childhood
psychology is the specialized psychology on understanding child ... Show more content on

Although, I didn't have the vocabulary to express all my feelings and thoughts, I began recognizing
a wrongness between my parents at 4 years old. Growing up with fighting parents, I adopting the
idea of personal responsibly because I decided at a very early age that it was my parents own faults
they won't happy. Reexamining the 4 years old's termed wrongness between my parents in my
teenage years, I assumed my parents couldn't navigate their own feels or they didn't have the
capacity to react positively to the stress within their relationship. Additional evidence, the strain
relationships they also had with their own broken extended families at the time showed they both
lacked the skills of cultivating and sustaining most close long term relationships. However, my
parents both did have longevity in their friendships. My parents broke up when I was six, my
mother moved my younger siblings and I constantly after the separation. I attribute my easy
acceptance of change to the fact that change is the opportunity for something better, as a child I
didn't have the option of changing my environment from the places I've lived in with my mother and
various male strangers besides running away for a short time before hunger or my siblings brought
me back. The chaotic lifestyle from 6 years old until I was 18 years old, encourages me as an adult
to love myself before anyone else. My mother spent years putting herself down, I would never want
my children to watch me suffering in my own unhappiness while struggle to care for them then
eventually breaking down at times leaving them with no

Psychological Disorders: A Psychological Analysis
As the years' progress, or even digress, the beliefs about abnormal behavior changes. It is also
dependent on the what is socially acceptable at the time or place the event or behavior is taking
place. Who the subject is and what Is expected from the subject are all factors that we need to think
about before answering that question. "A psychological disorder is a condition characterized by
abnormal thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. However, defining what is "normal" and "abnormal" is
a subject of much debate." To be as simple as possible, any behavior that is socially unacceptable,

Psychological Disorders Analysis
This week we learned about psychological disorders, what could be the cause of them, and how we
try to treat each one of the disorders. In truth, it is a hard task to discern which of the known
disorders that were covered in the chapters assigned for us to read this week would be more difficult
for me to live with. Depression could cause me to feel like everything I did would not really amount
to anything, deal with insomnia, and unable to find pleasure in my daily life. Posttraumatic stress
disorder (PTSD) can result from a terrifying or shocking event; this could result in me having to
experience the ordeal over and over again at any given time, losing sleep, and closing off the
relationships I have with my friends and relatives.

Emotions: A Psychological Analysis
Throughout my life, I have felt a lot of emotions. Most of those emotions were good and some were
bad. The one event that stuck out to me when I was overwhelmed with the emotion of fear was
when I got into a car accident two summers ago. It was a nice sunny ordinary summer day and we
were on our way to breakfast. We were turning left at a green light and somebody t–boned us on the
side I was sitting on. When she t–boned us she flipped our car onto our side and we were almost
flipped over onto the roof. When this first happened I had no idea what was going on until we were
flipped on our side. I was hanging from my seatbelt, my mom was on the ground freaking out, and
my sister was on the ground. While I was hanging from my seatbelt ... Show more content on

According to this theory, I would know that I was afraid because of my racing heart and shaking
with fright. But this arousal can be related to multiple emotions. This theory does not include how
cognition affects our experience of emotion. (Myers, DeWall) The Cannon–Bard Theory states that I
experienced my arousal and fear at the same time. The arousal does not cause emotion and emotions
do not cause arousal. It co–occurs. For example, while my heart was racing, I was feeling scared at
the same time. There is evidence that our arousal does influence our experience of emotion. With an
experiment with people with lower and higher spinal cord injuries and how they felt. This theory
also does not include how cognition affects our experience of emotion. (Myers, DeWall) The
Schachter–Singer Two–Factor Theory of emotion states that I must be physically aroused and then
cognitively label the arousal, as in this case fear. Then the spillover effect will happen. The spillover
effect is when the tendency of one person's emotion to affect how other people around them feel.
For example, while feeling fear from the accident, I was not myself and that spilled over when I
visited my friend after everything happened. When I went to her house I was not myself and when I
was in the car with her I was very anxious, then she became very anxious and a little fearful when
she was in the car. (Myers,

Psychological Argument Analysis
The purpose of this article was to show that people are influenced based off of how a question is
asked. In the article there was a study done where people watched a video of a car accident. Then
they were asked about how fast were the cars going when they smashed into each other. The study
showed that when the word smashed was used, people would say that the cars were going faster
than if they would've used the word hit. Also, when people were asked a question a week later they
had different responses. When they were asked," Did you see any broken glass when the two cars
smashed into each other? They usually said ,"Yes." When they were asked," Did you see any broken

Cornell University did an experiment with a setup that they called a "visual cliff." The "visual cliff"
was made of a board laid across a large sheet of heavy glass. They put a patterned sheet right up
against the glass on one side and left it lower on the other side. This was used to test the behavior of
infants and young animals. The psychological concept in this paper was to see if young children and
animals are aware of height perception. They found out that most human infants can discriminate
depth as soon as they can crawl. The experiments were done to see if infants and young animals
were born with depth perception or when they could visually predict the depth of different things.
By creating the "visual cliff' and setting babies and animals on it.They were able to study the
behavior and see if they prefered the shallow side or the deep side. Toward the end of the paper they
were doing experiments to see if animals reared in the dark at an early age. They wondered if this
would change depth perception of rats and kittens, but it really did not have an affect. From the
work from the visual cliff they are concluding that a seeing animal will be able to discriminate depth
when they are able to move around at a young age. The results of this experiment has shown that
through our own visual cues we are able to determine the height of our

Psychological Analysis. When an individual is diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD),
multiple criteria must be addressed which I will elaborate in the document. When Mr. Wertz was
deployed to Iraq in the infantry division, he witnessed the death of a comrade and in his second
deployment he had many mortar attacks fulfilling criterion A of PTSD. Conclusively, there was a
presence of a trauma while in the army when Mr. Wertz witnessed the death of soldiers in his
division. Mr. Wertz recounts having nightmares about his combat. The nightmares are described as
reoccurring for the duration of two months. The dream described is Mr. Wertz and his unit being
barricaded in a house and being fired at directly; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In California jurisdiction, the M'Naghten Test is used to deliberate the insanity or sanity of a person.
There are two prompts and you must fail one of the prompts to have a verdict of insanity. The first
part entails Mr. Wertz to have known the nature and quality of his act. Mr. Wertz had experience
with rifles and experience being barricaded in a house with fire arms. He also knew the severity of
using a rifle on the ranch. Being in the army, he knew that firing a rifle could lead to an injury and
that barricading a house increased the chances of mortality or injury. It is plausible that Mr. Wertz
may claim that he did know about the quality of the act he was doing, but he did not know that his
action was criminally or morally wrong. However, the case file includes that he was interrogated on
his whereabouts, and he said that he was shot at first which led to his criminal behavior. There was
no evidence found of a weapon being shot in the case. Inclusively, there was evidence that he was
found under a vehicle, so Mr. Wertz knew the severity of his criminal act by hiding or not being
visible to the police. Mr. Wertz claims being in an amnestic state while shooting multiple rounds to
the ranch house. However, memory loss is not characteristic of PTSD. The cognitive test,
M'Naghten Test, takes into consideration the state of mind of the person at the time an individual
committed the crime. For this case, Mr. Wertz does show a mental illness; however, mental

Infertility: A Psychological Analysis
Infertility is a condition usually diagnosed after a 12–month period of intercourse without
conception when the female is under 34 (Poddar, Sanyal, & Mukherjee, 2014, p. 117). After 35,
infertility can be diagnosed after a 6–month period of unsuccessful attempts at conception (Poddar
et al., 2014, p. 118). The diagnosis of infertility can have detrimental effects on one's psychological
state. Studies suggest that infertility influences emotional, financial, physical, and psychological
aspects of life (Sternke & Abrahamson, 2014, p.4). In regard to emotional aspects, infertility can
affect the strength of a relationship. The stigma surrounding infertility negatively contributes to
psychological state. Women who suffer with infertility are considered ... Show more content on

In terms of stress, couples often report that experiencing infertility is one of, if not the most,
stressful occurrence throughout the course of their life (Santos, Sobral, & Martins, 2016, p. 3). This
study found that majorly stressful issues, like financial issues and employment problems, were
ranked less stressful by infertile couples than fertile couples because nothing compares to infertility
stress. In regard to the discussion on effects of the individual, self–esteem and narcissism also
appear in the discussion of couples. In general, narcissistic people are not as good at maintaining
interpersonal relationships as people who do not have any narcissistic traits (Poddar et al., 2014, p.
124). The infertile person may lack these skills because interactions with fertile people may induce
periods of extreme jealousy, so the infertile person can choose to isolate themselves to prevent those
periods of negative emotion. This is only true for infertile people with narcissistic traits because
those who have low self–esteem become overly obsessed with personal relationships strive to create
a network of acceptance and support (Poddar et al., 2014, p. 123). In comparison, fertile women are
usually confident about their personal relationships, which allows for them to openly trust others
and maintain a positive image of them and their relationship (Poddar et al., 2014, p.

War, the incarnation of hate and ignorance that plagues both the human name and mind. It is evident
that throughout history, " war is one of the constants," and "in the last 3,421 years of recorded

outcome of war is being on the losing side. As of the First World War, the term "PTSD" had not
been developed, however the term "shell shock" had been created as a precursor to an unknown
condition. As the field of medical examinations advances, psychological disorders such as PTSD

involved combatants, not the affected bystanders. The psychological impact of ... Show more

To prevent situations such as those stated would be something of great difficulty; however, part of
the solution includes the removal of the harmful ideologies such as of those followed by the LRA.
This also includes the equality in both education and civil liberties of those in developing countries.
According to Western countries with World War two veterans or political prisoners, PTSD has been
found to persist as long as up to 40 years after the trauma has been experienced; even when
symptoms have been observed in decline, it does not conclude complete recovery (Schauer).
Treatments, however, may work and prove effective; for example "40% of children in the Gaza strip
who had been initially diagnosed with PTSD decreased to 10% one year later with the onset of the
peace process" (Purwar). There have also been studies that consistently show "the value of both
physical support and psychological support in minimizing the effects of war–related traumas, as
well as the role of religion and cultural practices as ways of coping" ("Mental

The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog: A Psychological Analysis
Personal Review
When reading "The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog," I gained a greater insight into the effect in
which traumatic experiences have on a child as well as on their physical and mental development.
According to "Disorders of Childhood Development and Psychopathology" (Parritz and Troy,
2014), "slowing down the development of the brain during times of adversity, leading to reduced
brain volumes in adulthood, stress in early life could modify the developmental trajectory of the
brain" (Parritz & Troy, 2014, p. 247). The impact of an individual's traumatic experience is based on
the type of traumatic events that take place, the amount of exposure the child is exposed to, and how
the children as well as their parents are personally affected by the event such as hurricanes,
earthquakes, accidents, or natural disasters (Martorell, Papalia, & Feldman, 2014). Throughout each
and every case presented by Dr. Perry, we see the importance of early experiences and the effect in
which early experiences have on an individual's growth and development. The stories and situations

Psychological Disorders: Psychological Analysis
Throughout chapter fifteen of our psychology text titled, Psychological Disorders, I have learned
that psychological disorders are defined as, patterns of thoughts, feelings, or actions that are deviant,
distressful, and dysfunctional. A disorder refers to someone's state of mental/behavioral ill health.
Patterns refer to the finding of collections of symptoms that tend to go together. Another term called,
deviant refers to differing from the norm. In psychology a behavior or mental status is considered
deviant. Understanding psychological disorders can be difficult to diagnose because often times it is
based on someone's feelings and actions. A reason to diagnose people suffering from a disorder is to
treat the problem. There are the five ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Throughout chapter Sixteen of our psychology text titled, Therapy, I was able to understand the
current forms of therapy and how they work. The current forms of therapy include, psychotherapy
and biomedical therapy. Psychotherapy is an interactive experience with a trained professional
working on understanding ones behavior, thinking, relationships and emotions. The other form of
therapy is called biomedical therapy, this includes the use of medications and other procedures
acting directly on the body to reduce mental disorders. These two forms of therapy can and often
times are used together. Psychodynamic therapy is described as a less intensive version of
psychoanalysis. There are fewer sessions per week and the focus is on improved self–awareness and
insight. Interpersonal therapy is a further extension of psychoanalysis. The focus is less on the past
and more on current feelings and relationships. Humanistic therapies emphasize the human potential
growth, self–actualization, and person fulfillment with the patient. Behavior Therapy is sometimes
also used. This form of therapy uses principles of learning to help reduce unwanted responses, often
used in addictions or emotions. Cognitive Therapies help people after negative thinking causes
worsened depression and anxiety. CBT, or cognitive behavioral therapy works in a way to help
change both cognitions and behaviors that are part of a mental health disorder. Some

It begins with the distress of others, which results in going the extra mile to make a difference in
another person's life. Around two years ago, I experienced my own act of benevolence/altruism, a
moment I am proud to share. I was on my way to school with a friend, when suddenly, a car crashed
into an electric pole, separating the pole from the ground. Everything happened very fast, but one
thing I will never forget was the fact that no one bothered to stop, they all just kept driving past the

Literature Review Although the researchers reviewed the various literature to develop practice
guidelines, draw conclusions, create the research question, develop a study design, and find ways to
control bias. In fact, it presented key terms, such as hermeneutics, phenomenology, and interview
methods (Dainty et al., 2014). Descriptive style helps to 'bracket' any preconceptions, since
hermeneutic methods acknowledge that an experience could influence its interpretation. The
hermeneutic phenomenological design linked to the study question, which based on the experience
of multiple realities (Dainty et al., 2014). Overall, the literature reviews adequately linked the
interview question and design through interpretative phenomenology theory. Research Design The
naturalistic design focuses on the reality that is not fixed, it lies in human minds; thus, the least
distance between researchers and participants can maximize understanding. The researchers and
participants actively involved in the conversation (Loiselle et al., 2011). The study used a specific
hermeneutic phenomenological design to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of the research

design for the study because of the nature of the questions. Description of the Target Population

Professor De Vida Bell, LCSW I. Introduction In assessing Emma's case, an analysis of her dynamic
systems and the interrelatedness between the biological, social, psychological, and developmental
factors, reveals that Emma has had major deficiencies, effecting her early/middle childhood life
span development. Thus, the traumas in which Emma has experienced, will nevertheless negatively
affect her continued development into adulthood, if her undesired, aggressive behaviors do not
produce successful and consistent interventions. II. Major Factors Emma's assessment includes an
examination of major factors, such as bio and neurobiological, psychological, social, and
development aspects within Emma's life and environment. Biologically, Emma doesn't have
responsively consistent caregivers; her father didn't believe that she was sexually abused by a staff
member at her pre–school, and after the discovery, Emma's mother was her only parental support in
psychotherapy. From a neurobiological aspect, evidence derived from reports of Emma's
hyperactivity, and her inability to pay attention in class, may prove that she suffers from deficiencies
in a Gama amino–butynic acid (GABA) "brake" neurotransmitter in her brain. (Robbins, Chatterjee,

traumatic events are great a result of war and any activity threatening life, there are several factors
that amount to a traumatic event. Post–traumatic stress disorder can be described as a psychological

Maria states that she has not been previously diagnosed with anything and is not aware of

When considering the different common psychological perspectives that are available, it can
become difficult to discern which one best accounts for a particular psychological belief. That being
said, the author leans towards the opinion that the behavioral perspective is the psychological
perspective which best accounts for the accepted connection between video games and aggressive
behavior. This perspective is founded on behaviorism, but it also incorporates the social–cognitive
theory. This perspective places observable behavior and the importance of learning as the key tenets.
It is based off of the belief that an individual's behavior is a product of the rewards and punishments

The idea that the consequences of our actions, the rewards and punishments, can be used to mold us
is one that occurs repeatedly throughout both the Old and the New Testaments. In addition,
intentional discipline for the purpose of character building, whether imposed by God or by man, is
repeatedly cited as a useful training tool. Hebrews 12:11 states that "No discipline seems pleasant at
the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those
who have been trained by it" (New International Version). This verse and others of similar content
remind readers that people really do learn from the unpleasant experiences which might result from
their actions. It is when psychologists take this perspective too far that it becomes inconsistent with
biblical principles. Although discipline and rewards may help to train individuals in the ways of
right and wrong, they do not ultimately determine the individual's behavior. Christians are called to
follow what is right regardless of how much the people around them encourage ungodly behavior –
whether through positive reinforcement, punishments, or

Media And Psychological Analysis
The influence of the media on psychological human development is profound (PMC, 2003). Media
influences do play a vital role in shaping a person's behaviour, particularly in adolescent and young
adult years. Media affects society and can control how people interact and behave, also contributing
to what is socially and culturally accepted (raisingchildren.net.au, 2015).
The effects of media are most powerful during a person's adolescent and young adult years.
Adolescents and young people have to work through a broad range of issues in their transition from
childhood to adulthood and usually becomes a time for experimenting and partaking in risky
behaviours (Better Health Channel, 2015). A person may turn to certain media outlets, including

As society changes and moves towards a more technological era, media is heavily relied upon.
When a person is insecure or vulnerable, media can be a way for people to feel connected with the
world and people around them. Children are exposed to media and technology from a very early
age, particularly with its use in schools and households. For example, a toddler watching Sesame
Street can be taught valuable lessons about racial harmony, cooperation, simple arithmetic and the
use and application of literacy, through an educational television format. The use of media continues
throughout a person's life, as society depends more and more on it for relaying information and

Media is changing the way how people access and share knowledge (common sense, 2015). Cultural
and political awareness can be learned, as media can expose young people to an array of different
cultural backgrounds, ethnic groups and traditions. Family members and peers may display
stereotypes of different cultural groups, though media outlets can offer a varied display of ethnic
groups and can allow people to think critically,

Psychological Theories: A Psychological Analysis
Psychological concepts and ideas can help individuals have a better understanding on why people
behave the way they do. In this article being analyzed, over 120 dogs have disappeared in Northern
BC within the last year for suspected organized dog fighting. This has caused panic for dog owners
and they hope that by coming forward about the violent events they have witnessed, that the SPCA
will step in. Multiple people tell their experience in this article about either stumbling across an
organized dog fight or seeing injuries or death that suggest one has occurred. The spike in missing
dogs, combined with the fact that multiple dogs are stolen at once and the stories from owners have
lead to a petition demanding an investigation from the SPCA and RCMP (Clancy & Brend, 2016).
The psychological concepts and ideas here that are relevant are the availability heuristic, perceptual
salience, attribution theory, and affective forecasting. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Attribution theory explains how individuals explain their own and the other peoples behaviour
around them. External attributions are distinct to a situation or social concept that explains why a
person behaves they way they do (Aronson, Wilson, Fehr, & Akert, 2013). In this article, external
attributions may explain why the dog owners are panicking and appear to be frightened. It is not that
all dog owners are scared of what might happen to their pets, but what has been happing and the
situation they have been put into that make them appear this way. The importance of subjective
construct also applies here. Subjective constructs explain that the way people interpret a situation
usually influences the situation a lot more then the objective reality of the actual situation
(Droogendyk, 2016). Here that is shown in how the people are reacting and interpret the situation to
be much more dangerous then it might actually

Psychological Analysis Of The Sniper
The Sniper Analysis
War can bring many disastrous effects to countries, societies, the economy, and the mentality of
those involved in it. In "The Sniper," the protagonist is a republican sniper trying to kill the sniper
on the opposing side of the the Irish civil war. At the end of the story the republican sniper cleverly
outsmarts the opposing sniper, unknowingly killing his brother. Liam O'Flaherty's "The Sniper"
conveys the horrors of war not only by presenting its physical dangers, but also by showing its
psychological effects. The short story "The Sniper" presents to the reader with the physical dangers
of war. The story takes place in a civil war, where a country is essentially at war with itself. In
paragraph nine O'Flaherty writes, "The sniper raised his rifle and fire. The head fell heavily on the
turret wall. The woman darted toward the side street. The sniper fired again. The woman whirled
around and fell with a shriek into the gutter." The old woman who was shot by the sniper was an
informer for the opposing side. While she did not pose as a major hazard for the sniper, he believed
she was an imminent threat to his safety and kills the old woman. In paragraph one of the story the
author also writes, "Here and there through the city, machine guns and rifles broke through the
silence of the night, spasmodically, like dogs barking on lone farms." These paragraphs show how
easily civilians are killed during war. An old woman who was an informer is quickly

Catharsis: A Psychological Analysis
Have you ever felt that you are about to explode if you do not get something off your chest? This
happens to a lot of people and can be a huge stress reliever for most individuals. This psychological
experience is known as catharsis. Catharsis refers to a release and freeing of emotions by talking
about one's problems (Cervone & Pervin, 2013). We all have those friends that you courteously, yet
regretfully, ask how their day is going and then you are trapped listening to a long–winded response.
They individuals are displaying catharsis. The urge to tell someone, for some people it can literally
be anyone, even a stranger they had just met, all of the emotions they have been holding onto. As

When I am upset and I need to tell someone what is going on I usually feel better after venting. In
the study, they were creating a mood, by criticizing the participants writing, and I believe this may
have had an affect on the catharsis theory. These participants were clearly aware that they were in a
study and might not have reacted the same if it were a real life scenario where they were being
criticized. Their reaction or their need to vent might have been slightly biased, in the sense that if it
were a real scenario they might have went home and displayed the catharsis theory to their family
members or friends. But, since they knew it was for a study, they probably did not think twice about
the criticism being presented to them. Personally, I have seen both spectrums of the catharsis theory.
My mother needs to vent and get her emotions out. My sister on the other hand, has to keep things
to herself. To illustrate, when my mom and dad have an argument, my dad will try to avoid any type
of tension, so he will try to sidetrack my mom and begin talking about something else. This highly
upsets my mother if she has not finished her thoughts on the topic. You better believe that every last
thought my mom had ever thought about this topic will be said and after, you can see her sigh of
relief or her catharsis

Positive Psychological Analysis
In class on Monday, we had a very engaging presentation on positive psychology and how
flourishing shapes our perspective to be the successful young adults we are today. Positive
psychology is the study of promotion for successful functioning. Building enabling conditions for a
life worth living is vital to being satisfied with our lives and within ourselves. A few enabling
conditions for a life worth living for my own perspectives is my resilience, my supportive buffers,
and using my signature strength to help others.
Being resilient is an essential quality to living a well–rounded, happy, auspicious life. Resiliency is
one of the main four areas of positive psychology. Having fortitude and backbone even during times
of tragedy is a critical component to having a high emotional intelligence and inner strength. During
my childhood I had many risk factors that might have caused me to deteriorate and allow myself to
let those misfortunes take over my entire life. Growing up we were lower middle class, my father
worked in construction and my mother was an at home CNA to an elderly woman. My brother has

depressed. He would want me to be happy and move on with my life. I view this as the reason why I
have the inner strength I do as a young adult. I will never forget my dad and the times we shared. I
understand the reality of loss. I learned to appreciate the time I have with those I care about. Time is

Mastering The World Of Psychology: A Psychological Analysis
Stress cannot have detrimental effects not only to our mental health, but also our overall physical
wellbeing as well, as discussed in "Mastering the World of Psychology: Fifth Edition" (Wood,
Wood, & Boyd, 2014). This textbook defines stress as "the physiological and psychological
response to a condition that threatens or challenges an individual and requires some form of
adaptation or adjustment" (Wood, Wood, & Boyd, 2014). And so, anything that causes individuals to
change to keep mental or physical balance in life, is defined as a stressor. Stressors can take the
form of something minor, such as locking yourself out of your car, to something incredibly major,
like the death of a loved one. Psychologists often develop scales to compare

Participants were asked how they managed disagreements with their dating partners over the four
months preceding the study. The psychological aggression subscale included 8 items, including
items such as ''I insulted or swore at my partner.'' The physical assault subscale consisted of 12

were also asked to indicate the frequency of these actions for themselves and their partners.
Reliability of these two subscales ranged from .69 to 80. The modified version of the CTS is a

composite variables as suggested by the scoring manual developed by Strauss (2004). More
specifically, physical assault and verbal aggression measure the aggression toward another for each
participant, computed by averaging the self and partner reports on the frequency of each action.
Higher scores indicated higher frequency of the aggressive

Perks Of Being A Wallflower Psychological Analysis
Abstract Perks of Being a Wallflower is a film about a 15–year–old teenager boy, Charlie, who deals
with his first love, flashbacks of his Aunt and his own mental illness. Psychological background of
Charlie gives shape to his current behavior. Actors made the film realistic. When Charlie had mental
breakdown, Logan Lerman embraced its character wholeheartedly. However, the film is messy as
the directors put together many psychological problems in one scene making it difficult to figure out
the psychological patterns. It would have been better if the writers organized some of the scenes
more carefully. On the other hand, the film is still the best among other psychological films based
on teenagers. Introduction The purpose of the report is to arrive at some hypothesis about the main
character Charlie, his behavior, personality and capabilities after doing some psychological research
as the film was mainly based on him. Our major aim of this report is to understand how theories and
concepts are applied to the main character Charlie in the film. The film focuses on the problems and
diseases that teenagers face and they are unaware of it. For example, Charlie was suffering from

Dissociative Identity Disorder: A Psychological Analysis
Dissociative identity disorder is increasingly understood as a complex and chronic posttraumatic
psychopathology closely related to severe, particularly early, child abuse (Waseem, 2014). The
dominant or the host's personality breaks off sub categorically and begins to develop with different
and distinct memories, behavioral pattern, historical and familial background and cognitive
function. Sufferers usually develop different identities (commonly known as alter). Each alter have
its own distinct memories, personal experiences, likes, dislikes, talent and self–image including their
own name. The transference of the identity to the next one is called "switching" and it is usually
triggered by a negative or stressful event or experience although, at times, occurring without
noticeable indication (Comer, 2007). The interaction between the sub personalities can vary greatly,
however, there are three primary relationships that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

know that DID is not a psychotic disorder, commonly mistaken as "split personality" disorder
(Zimbardo, 2006). Furthermore, we should also know the difference of DID and post–traumatic
stress disorder (PTSD). DID is usually misdiagnosed as PTSD because they have resemblance. But
come to think of it, DID is "an organization of negative emotions that are assigned to different sub
personalities" (Haddock, 2001). While DID can be an involuntary acts of mental escape in order to

Joel Feinberg Psychological Egoism Analysis
Psychological egoism is the interpretation that humans are always inspired by self–interest, even in
what seem to be acts of altruism. It claims that, when people choose to help others, they do so
ultimately because of the personal benefits that they themselves expect to obtain, directly or
indirectly, from doing so. Psychological egoism, which was widely recognized by psychologists and
philosophers states that all human actions are motivated by selfish needs to benefit themselves.
According to psychological egoists true altruism does not exist because the consequence of such an
act leads to an increase in personal happiness. However, Joel Feinberg does not agree with that
theory and in his essay he disagreed with the thesis that altruism ... Show more content on

He would have explained to me that even though some philosopher could argue that all of our acts
are considered as selfish since the main source of our action is us therefore it does make sense that
our only motif is to obtain pleasure for ourselves. As mentioned in the Internet Encyclopedia of
Philosophy, "Psychological egoists cannot establish their view simply by pointing to the pleasure or
self–benefit that accompanies so many actions. After all, often self–benefit only seems to be what
we ultimately desire, though a closer look reveals benefits like pleasure are likely just byproducts
while the proximate desire is for that which generates them" ( Psychological Egoism). Joel Feinberg
would explain that the acts that are generated to help others even though we can receive pleasure for
acting such way could be and should be considered as an altruistic act. Pleasure can be a byproduct
of a good deed but what matters is what generated the good deed and if it's for a good reason and to
help others it should be considered as an altruistic

Piaget's Psychological Analysis
The theorist Erik Erikson once said: "There is in every child at every stage a new miracle of
vigorous unfolding, which constitutes a new hope and a new responsibility for all." Human
development follows a sequence of achievements; yet, the exact age and time when it will transpire
is unpredictable. In contrast to what Piaget believed, today's psychologist promote the thought that
children master certain goals at various ages, rather than following an exact blueprint. To support
this belief, one needs to deeply analyze Piaget's four cognitive stages of development. Thus,
scrutinizing in debt each individual phase will result in accurate conclusions. Observing children in
their natural habitat, taking note of their behaviors and reactions to ... Show more content on

As Piaget has predicted, the children all agreed that they now have more liquid in their glasses since
their cup is taller. To further support this theory, I administered my own experiment. I had the
children look at a chair across a room and say if it is possible for them to touch it from their current
position. They all agreed that it is impossible. Thereafter, I told them to focus on the object through
a pair of binoculars and see if they can reach it now. Instantly, the children, with outstretched arms,
exclaimed that of course they can since now it is within their distance. This experiment further
supports Piaget's study.
Although Jean Piaget proved his four stages and experimented in debt to reach a conclusion,
observationists nowadays often contradict his facts and prove some errors. Hence, the sequence of
the developments are usually accurate, the age base that Piaget assigned them to is underestimated.
Children far younger than the suggested ages grasp concepts that Piaget believed unattainable at
those years. All things considered, psychologists and researchers, although often in disagreement
with Piaget's theories, still base their studies and observations on his

6 to 12 weeks, but can last longer. Family and friends can be an important part of recovery. Talk

for them. Different types of therapy may use relaxation and anger–control skills, teach about trauma
and its effects, and help people identify and deal with guilt, shame, and other feeling about the
event. There are many types of psychotherapy that can help people with PTSD and some types
target the symptoms of PTSD directly. Effective psychotherapies usually emphasize skills to
manage the symptoms, teaching skills to identify the triggers of symptoms, and education about the
symptoms. One of the most helpful forms of therapy for PTSD is called cognitive behavioral
therapy also known as CBT and can include exposure therapy and cognitive restructuring. Exposure
therapy helps people face and control their dear and gradually exposes them to the trauma they
experienced in a safe way. It uses visiting the place where it happened, writing, and imagining.
Cognitive restructuring helps the person make sense of their memories and sometimes people

Psychological Analysis Syllabus

  • 1. Syllabus For Psychological Analysis Final Presentation Students will thoroughly answer the following course objectives: 1. Discuss the meaning and uses of assessment in various fields. These are instruments used to measure how much of a specific psychological construct an individual has. Psychological tests are used to assess many areas, including: 1. Traits such as introversion and extroversion 2. Certain conditions such as depression and anxiety 3. Intelligence, aptitude and achievement such as verbal intelligence and reading achievement 4. Attitudes and feelings such as how individuals feel about the treatment that they received from their therapists 5. Interest such as the careers and activities that a person is interested in 6. Specific abilities, knowledge or skills ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Subjective assessment is a form of questioning which may have more than one correct answer and/or more than one way of expressing the correct answer, whereas opinion might in addition to– also consist of unsubstantiated information, in contrast to knowledge and fact–based beliefs. Some have argued that the distinction between objective and subjective assessments is neither useful nor accurate because, in reality, there is no such thing as "objective" assessment. In fact, all assessments are created with inherent biases built into decisions about the relevant subject matter and content, as well as cultural (class, ethnic, and gender) ... • 2. Childhood Psychological Analysis Currently, I am 20 years old and married with the frequent thought on having my own children in very near future. However, my parents are reminders of a couple without trust and a healthy relationship who had children they couldn't care for. The result of their relationship, the endless amount of emotional traumatizing and life alternating mistakes with their children and each other that still have an effect for years to come. I'll probably raise the children isolation from the extended family for the majority of their early years for sake of their malleable minds not being marred by my brutal father's side or the drug addicts offspring that is my mom's side of my family. Childhood psychology is the specialized psychology on understanding child ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although, I didn't have the vocabulary to express all my feelings and thoughts, I began recognizing a wrongness between my parents at 4 years old. Growing up with fighting parents, I adopting the idea of personal responsibly because I decided at a very early age that it was my parents own faults they won't happy. Reexamining the 4 years old's termed wrongness between my parents in my teenage years, I assumed my parents couldn't navigate their own feels or they didn't have the capacity to react positively to the stress within their relationship. Additional evidence, the strain relationships they also had with their own broken extended families at the time showed they both lacked the skills of cultivating and sustaining most close long term relationships. However, my parents both did have longevity in their friendships. My parents broke up when I was six, my mother moved my younger siblings and I constantly after the separation. I attribute my easy acceptance of change to the fact that change is the opportunity for something better, as a child I didn't have the option of changing my environment from the places I've lived in with my mother and various male strangers besides running away for a short time before hunger or my siblings brought me back. The chaotic lifestyle from 6 years old until I was 18 years old, encourages me as an adult to love myself before anyone else. My mother spent years putting herself down, I would never want my children to watch me suffering in my own unhappiness while struggle to care for them then eventually breaking down at times leaving them with no ... • 3. Psychological Disorders: A Psychological Analysis As the years' progress, or even digress, the beliefs about abnormal behavior changes. It is also dependent on the what is socially acceptable at the time or place the event or behavior is taking place. Who the subject is and what Is expected from the subject are all factors that we need to think about before answering that question. "A psychological disorder is a condition characterized by abnormal thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. However, defining what is "normal" and "abnormal" is a subject of much debate." No–one, apart from Blair Huntington would be privy to the film of Sophie Scott's gang–banging, although the same couldn't said of her initial visit to his studio, photo– shoot, and Sophie's subsequent fucking on the sofa, followed by the revelation of the camera's capture of the entire event. That had weeks ago been uploaded to the website, and drawn an an ever increasing number of members, clamouring for more of the teenager. Adam had satiated some of their appetite by adding some teasers of the girl at the poolside with Kurt, but not the entire scene, and footage he'd captured in secret, including the college–girl in her dorm, where he'd fucked her on the desk, and the car trip on the way to and from Huntington's. ... • 5. Psychological Disorders Analysis This week we learned about psychological disorders, what could be the cause of them, and how we try to treat each one of the disorders. In truth, it is a hard task to discern which of the known disorders that were covered in the chapters assigned for us to read this week would be more difficult for me to live with. Depression could cause me to feel like everything I did would not really amount to anything, deal with insomnia, and unable to find pleasure in my daily life. Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can result from a terrifying or shocking event; this could result in me having to experience the ordeal over and over again at any given time, losing sleep, and closing off the relationships I have with my friends and relatives. ... • 6. Emotions: A Psychological Analysis Throughout my life, I have felt a lot of emotions. Most of those emotions were good and some were bad. The one event that stuck out to me when I was overwhelmed with the emotion of fear was when I got into a car accident two summers ago. It was a nice sunny ordinary summer day and we were on our way to breakfast. We were turning left at a green light and somebody t–boned us on the side I was sitting on. When she t–boned us she flipped our car onto our side and we were almost flipped over onto the roof. When this first happened I had no idea what was going on until we were flipped on our side. I was hanging from my seatbelt, my mom was on the ground freaking out, and my sister was on the ground. While I was hanging from my seatbelt ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to this theory, I would know that I was afraid because of my racing heart and shaking with fright. But this arousal can be related to multiple emotions. This theory does not include how cognition affects our experience of emotion. (Myers, DeWall) The Cannon–Bard Theory states that I experienced my arousal and fear at the same time. The arousal does not cause emotion and emotions do not cause arousal. It co–occurs. For example, while my heart was racing, I was feeling scared at the same time. There is evidence that our arousal does influence our experience of emotion. With an experiment with people with lower and higher spinal cord injuries and how they felt. This theory also does not include how cognition affects our experience of emotion. (Myers, DeWall) The Schachter–Singer Two–Factor Theory of emotion states that I must be physically aroused and then cognitively label the arousal, as in this case fear. Then the spillover effect will happen. The spillover effect is when the tendency of one person's emotion to affect how other people around them feel. For example, while feeling fear from the accident, I was not myself and that spilled over when I visited my friend after everything happened. When I went to her house I was not myself and when I was in the car with her I was very anxious, then she became very anxious and a little fearful when she was in the car. (Myers, ... • 7. Psychological Argument Analysis The purpose of this article was to show that people are influenced based off of how a question is asked. In the article there was a study done where people watched a video of a car accident. Then they were asked about how fast were the cars going when they smashed into each other. The study showed that when the word smashed was used, people would say that the cars were going faster than if they would've used the word hit. Also, when people were asked a question a week later they had different responses. When they were asked," Did you see any broken glass when the two cars smashed into each other? They usually said ,"Yes." When they were asked," Did you see any broken glass when the two cars hit into each other? They usually "said ,"No." There ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Cornell University did an experiment with a setup that they called a "visual cliff." The "visual cliff" was made of a board laid across a large sheet of heavy glass. They put a patterned sheet right up against the glass on one side and left it lower on the other side. This was used to test the behavior of infants and young animals. The psychological concept in this paper was to see if young children and animals are aware of height perception. They found out that most human infants can discriminate depth as soon as they can crawl. The experiments were done to see if infants and young animals were born with depth perception or when they could visually predict the depth of different things. By creating the "visual cliff' and setting babies and animals on it.They were able to study the behavior and see if they prefered the shallow side or the deep side. Toward the end of the paper they were doing experiments to see if animals reared in the dark at an early age. They wondered if this would change depth perception of rats and kittens, but it really did not have an affect. From the work from the visual cliff they are concluding that a seeing animal will be able to discriminate depth when they are able to move around at a young age. The results of this experiment has shown that through our own visual cues we are able to determine the height of our ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Psychological Analysis: Post Traumatic Stress Disor Karina Tampa (#39699317) Psychological Analysis. When an individual is diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), multiple criteria must be addressed which I will elaborate in the document. When Mr. Wertz was deployed to Iraq in the infantry division, he witnessed the death of a comrade and in his second deployment he had many mortar attacks fulfilling criterion A of PTSD. Conclusively, there was a presence of a trauma while in the army when Mr. Wertz witnessed the death of soldiers in his division. Mr. Wertz recounts having nightmares about his combat. The nightmares are described as reoccurring for the duration of two months. The dream described is Mr. Wertz and his unit being barricaded in a house and being fired at directly; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In California jurisdiction, the M'Naghten Test is used to deliberate the insanity or sanity of a person. There are two prompts and you must fail one of the prompts to have a verdict of insanity. The first part entails Mr. Wertz to have known the nature and quality of his act. Mr. Wertz had experience with rifles and experience being barricaded in a house with fire arms. He also knew the severity of using a rifle on the ranch. Being in the army, he knew that firing a rifle could lead to an injury and that barricading a house increased the chances of mortality or injury. It is plausible that Mr. Wertz may claim that he did know about the quality of the act he was doing, but he did not know that his action was criminally or morally wrong. However, the case file includes that he was interrogated on his whereabouts, and he said that he was shot at first which led to his criminal behavior. There was no evidence found of a weapon being shot in the case. Inclusively, there was evidence that he was found under a vehicle, so Mr. Wertz knew the severity of his criminal act by hiding or not being visible to the police. Mr. Wertz claims being in an amnestic state while shooting multiple rounds to the ranch house. However, memory loss is not characteristic of PTSD. The cognitive test, M'Naghten Test, takes into consideration the state of mind of the person at the time an individual committed the crime. For this case, Mr. Wertz does show a mental illness; however, mental ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Infertility: A Psychological Analysis Infertility is a condition usually diagnosed after a 12–month period of intercourse without conception when the female is under 34 (Poddar, Sanyal, & Mukherjee, 2014, p. 117). After 35, infertility can be diagnosed after a 6–month period of unsuccessful attempts at conception (Poddar et al., 2014, p. 118). The diagnosis of infertility can have detrimental effects on one's psychological state. Studies suggest that infertility influences emotional, financial, physical, and psychological aspects of life (Sternke & Abrahamson, 2014, p.4). In regard to emotional aspects, infertility can affect the strength of a relationship. The stigma surrounding infertility negatively contributes to psychological state. Women who suffer with infertility are considered ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In terms of stress, couples often report that experiencing infertility is one of, if not the most, stressful occurrence throughout the course of their life (Santos, Sobral, & Martins, 2016, p. 3). This study found that majorly stressful issues, like financial issues and employment problems, were ranked less stressful by infertile couples than fertile couples because nothing compares to infertility stress. In regard to the discussion on effects of the individual, self–esteem and narcissism also appear in the discussion of couples. In general, narcissistic people are not as good at maintaining interpersonal relationships as people who do not have any narcissistic traits (Poddar et al., 2014, p. 124). The infertile person may lack these skills because interactions with fertile people may induce periods of extreme jealousy, so the infertile person can choose to isolate themselves to prevent those periods of negative emotion. This is only true for infertile people with narcissistic traits because those who have low self–esteem become overly obsessed with personal relationships strive to create a network of acceptance and support (Poddar et al., 2014, p. 123). In comparison, fertile women are usually confident about their personal relationships, which allows for them to openly trust others and maintain a positive image of them and their relationship (Poddar et al., 2014, p. ... • 10. Psychological Disorder: A Psychological Analysis War, the incarnation of hate and ignorance that plagues both the human name and mind. It is evident that throughout history, " war is one of the constants," and "in the last 3,421 years of recorded history, only 268 have seen no war" (Purwar). For the longest time, the only obvious negative outcome of war is being on the losing side. As of the First World War, the term "PTSD" had not been developed, however the term "shell shock" had been created as a precursor to an unknown condition. As the field of medical examinations advances, psychological disorders such as PTSD became noticed and identified; however, these terms went only as far as to label disorders in the involved combatants, not the affected bystanders. To prevent situations such as those stated would be something of great difficulty; however, part of the solution includes the removal of the harmful ideologies such as of those followed by the LRA. This also includes the equality in both education and civil liberties of those in developing countries. According to Western countries with World War two veterans or political prisoners, PTSD has been found to persist as long as up to 40 years after the trauma has been experienced; even when symptoms have been observed in decline, it does not conclude complete recovery (Schauer). Treatments, however, may work and prove effective; for example "40% of children in the Gaza strip who had been initially diagnosed with PTSD decreased to 10% one year later with the onset of the peace process" (Purwar). There have also been studies that consistently show "the value of both physical support and psychological support in minimizing the effects of war–related traumas, as well as the role of religion and cultural practices as ways of coping" ("Mental ... • 11. The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog: A Psychological Analysis Personal Review When reading "The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog," I gained a greater insight into the effect in which traumatic experiences have on a child as well as on their physical and mental development. According to "Disorders of Childhood Development and Psychopathology" (Parritz and Troy, 2014), "slowing down the development of the brain during times of adversity, leading to reduced brain volumes in adulthood, stress in early life could modify the developmental trajectory of the brain" (Parritz & Troy, 2014, p. 247). The impact of an individual's traumatic experience is based on the type of traumatic events that take place, the amount of exposure the child is exposed to, and how the children as well as their parents are personally affected by the event such as hurricanes, earthquakes, accidents, or natural disasters (Martorell, Papalia, & Feldman, 2014). Psychological Disorders: Psychological Analysis Throughout chapter fifteen of our psychology text titled, Psychological Disorders, I have learned that psychological disorders are defined as, patterns of thoughts, feelings, or actions that are deviant, distressful, and dysfunctional. A disorder refers to someone's state of mental/behavioral ill health. Patterns refer to the finding of collections of symptoms that tend to go together. Another term called, deviant refers to differing from the norm. In psychology a behavior or mental status is considered deviant. Understanding psychological disorders can be difficult to diagnose because often times it is based on someone's feelings and actions. Throughout chapter Sixteen of our psychology text titled, Therapy, I was able to understand the current forms of therapy and how they work. The current forms of therapy include, psychotherapy and biomedical therapy. Psychotherapy is an interactive experience with a trained professional working on understanding ones behavior, thinking, relationships and emotions. The other form of therapy is called biomedical therapy, this includes the use of medications and other procedures acting directly on the body to reduce mental disorders. These two forms of therapy can and often times are used together. Psychodynamic therapy is described as a less intensive version of psychoanalysis. There are fewer sessions per week and the focus is on improved self–awareness and insight. Interpersonal therapy is a further extension of psychoanalysis. The focus is less on the past and more on current feelings and relationships. Humanistic therapies emphasize the human potential growth, self–actualization, and person fulfillment with the patient. Behavior Therapy is sometimes also used. This form of therapy uses principles of learning to help reduce unwanted responses, often used in addictions or emotions. Cognitive Therapies help people after negative thinking causes worsened depression and anxiety. CBT, or cognitive behavioral therapy works in a way to help change both cognitions and behaviors that are part of a mental health disorder. Some ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Around two years ago, I experienced my own act of benevolence/altruism, a moment I am proud to share. I was on my way to school with a friend, when suddenly, a car crashed into an electric pole, separating the pole from the ground. Everything happened very fast, but one thing I will never forget was the fact that no one bothered to stop, they all just kept driving past the scene unwilling to check on the passenger. Introduction In assessing Emma's case, an analysis of her dynamic systems and the interrelatedness between the biological, social, psychological, and developmental factors, reveals that Emma has had major deficiencies, effecting her early/middle childhood life span development. Thus, the traumas in which Emma has experienced, will nevertheless negatively affect her continued development into adulthood, if her undesired, aggressive behaviors do not produce successful and consistent interventions. II. Major Factors Emma's assessment includes an examination of major factors, such as bio and neurobiological, psychological, social, and development aspects within Emma's life and environment. Biologically, Emma doesn't have responsively consistent caregivers; her father didn't believe that she was sexually abused by a staff member at her pre–school, and after the discovery, Emma's mother was her only parental support in psychotherapy. From a neurobiological aspect, evidence derived from reports of Emma's hyperactivity, and her inability to pay attention in class, may prove that she suffers from deficiencies in a Gama amino–butynic acid (GABA) "brake" neurotransmitter in her brain. That being said, the author leans towards the opinion that the behavioral perspective is the psychological perspective which best accounts for the accepted connection between video games and aggressive behavior. This perspective is founded on behaviorism, but it also incorporates the social–cognitive theory. This perspective places observable behavior and the importance of learning as the key tenets. Hebrews 12:11 states that "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it" (New International Version). This verse and others of similar content remind readers that people really do learn from the unpleasant experiences which might result from their actions. It is when psychologists take this perspective too far that it becomes inconsistent with biblical principles. Psychological egoism, which was widely recognized by psychologists and philosophers states that all human actions are motivated by selfish needs to benefit themselves. Piaget's Psychological Analysis The theorist Erik Erikson once said: "There is in every child at every stage a new miracle of vigorous unfolding, which constitutes a new hope and a new responsibility for all." Human development follows a sequence of achievements; yet, the exact age and time when it will transpire is unpredictable. In contrast to what Piaget believed, today's psychologist promote the thought that children master certain goals at various ages, rather than following an exact blueprint. To support this belief, one needs to deeply analyze Piaget's four cognitive stages of development. Thus, scrutinizing in debt each individual phase will result in accurate conclusions. As Piaget has predicted, the children all agreed that they now have more liquid in their glasses since their cup is taller. To further support this theory, I administered my own experiment. I had the children look at a chair across a room and say if it is possible for them to touch it from their current position. They all agreed that it is impossible. Thereafter, I told them to focus on the object through a pair of binoculars and see if they can reach it now. Instantly, the children, with outstretched arms, exclaimed that of course they can since now it is within their distance. This experiment further supports Piaget's study. Although Jean Piaget proved his four stages and experimented in debt to reach a conclusion, observationists nowadays often contradict his facts and prove some errors. Hence, the sequence of the developments are usually accurate, the age base that Piaget assigned them to is underestimated. Children far younger than the suggested ages grasp concepts that Piaget believed unattainable at those years. All things considered, psychologists and researchers, although often in disagreement with Piaget's theories, still base their studies and observations on his ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
