2. Research We needed to create an anamatic remake; therefore we used Final Cut. It was slightly different using pictures instead of clips in Final Cut to create the remake of our music video and because we hadn’t used Final Cut for a while – we had to familiarize ourselves again. For our research we used Yahoo Answers a lot, this is where you post questions and other people can reply. The difficulty that I had to overcome was that my question time would run out before anyone had answered, as you are only given a certain number of days until your question is erased.
3. Planning Fortunately for us, we didn’t have that many difficulties in planning. There were a few in Google & Safari in where we had to research specific things and it was difficult to find. There were also small difficulties in the blog when the internet went down and we lost work. This didn’t affect us that much because the blog auto saves. However it still cost time when we had deadlines to reach.
4. Construction GarageBand was a programme that was very new to us, therefore we had to brush up our knowledge by asking technicians, other classmates and researching it on the internet. We used a Samsung camera to take pictures and upload to the blog, unfortunately the cable was misplaced when we needed to upload the photos. This lead to a delay but fortunately the problem was fixed and everything was fine. Because we wanted our project to be the best, we added a lot more effect to it this year on Final Cut. This meant we have to research how to do it. This proved to take time and patience but it looks great. We used more layers than normal in our music video and used ChromaKey and Colour correction to make it look effective.
