own bhajan and spiritual life. May think that outside
world is full of cut throat competition. Let us just
relax. Take prasad together and do bhajan, be peaceful.

“I don’t want to go to forest like the silent sages who is just concerned about their own
deliverance. Want to live amidst suffering people, preach, distribute KC, dispatch them BTG.
Not going back alone.”
This was Prahalad, Haridas Thakur, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Srila Prabhupada’s spirit.

Jesus intervening. Huge amount of fish were fetched. When he wanted
to reciprocate, was called to follow him(Jesus) and help him preach.
Lovers of God -Jesus, Haridas Thakur, Srila Prabhupada-not only want
to love God for themselves but want to preach and bring other souls
to God as well.

SP in ripe old age-going to a foreign land with no support and struggling
hard to preach and establish KC and spread all over the world.
He expressed that his followers do BD, preach vigorously, whoever we
are, save the suffering souls. This society is for that intention only.
So our motto is more devotees and happier devotees.

7. Missionary spirited devotee
So missionary spirit means to go to a far away, unaware place and not thinking
about physical comforts-only concerned about giving out message of God.
Going to unknown land-least comforts-alwaysthinking on how to reach the
message to others-himself relishing KC and wanting to give others. Putting
sweat and toil of body and mind.
Ex: SP printing BTGs and going to tea shops to distribute. Printing SB and
taking to America for distributing.

yatantaç ca dåòha-vratäù - devotees working hard to please Krsna.
Throwing away watch and forgetting the lunch box- do it in spiritual life-
Krsna is pleased and preacher gets realizations. Preacher who serves with such vigor-Lord
being pleased plants pure realizations in his heart. With these realizations that devotee falls in
love with Krsna even more and wants to do even more.

Lord Chaitanya told Nityananda and Haridas—
çuno çuno nityänanda, çuno haridäsa, sarvatra ämära äjïä koroha prakäça,
prati ghare ghare giyä koro ei bhikñä, bolo kåñëa, bhaja kåñëa, koro kåñëa çikñä
"Listen, listen, Nityananda! Listen, Haridasa! Make My command known everywhere!
Go from house to house and beg from all the residents, 'Please chant Krsna's name,
worship Krsna, and teach others to follow Krsna's instructions.' Do not speak, or cause
anyone to speak, anything other than this.“

Worship Krsna and teach KC to others. We are not asking anything from people. Just take
this mercy and enjoy.
Our students should be taught this principle- each one teaches one while being taught
by one. This is the formula.
First years are facilitated by seniors. 1st yrs (in the student center) they don’t go out and just
take nourishment.
In 3rd yr (i.e. 2nd yr in the student center) they are encouraged to go and preach-first they
become front liner, facilitator, DYS preachers, OC, PM

11. How to awaken missionary spirit?
Student center itself is a fiery place. Noticeboard filled with varieties for first
year residents to see; done by the noticeboard in-charge. Internal noticeboard
and external noticeboard. List of golden students. 300-400 students
approached.
Practice nicely and want to give others. Facilitators-going to hostels, conducting
MMCs, chanting circles, distributing cookies. Every facilitator takes care of 8-
10 students like a sibling.

12. How to awaken missionary spirit?
Same spirit was in early days of ISKCON during Srila Prabhupada- doing BD, kirtans..
Missionary spirit makes one feel the presence of Krsna strongly right now.
Everyone should get some kind of preaching related services.
Going to the temple on festivals-putting book table-DYS bookstall, SP BD marathon,
Harinam, BD on the train while going home-culture of missionary spirit has to be kept alive.

13. How to awaken missionary spirit?
Youth centers where seniors are dull and not
going for preaching, juniors imitate-student
center becomes a sickly center and eventually
unmanifests. If new students are coming
every year, then the center will continue.

14. How to awaken missionary spirit?
Openly tell students, if they are brining new students and highly
spirited to preach –it’s a welcome for preachers-else preacher may go
to other favorable colleges they being servants of the society-
“whoever welcomes us and seeks our help we provide help”-students
come together to plan a strategy to bring new people. By the time
they graduate and take up a job-they are very mature-ability to know
how to deal with different kind of people-young in age yet mature in
KC and worldly dealings.

15. How to awaken missionary spirit?
Two opportunities- to become a temple
brahmacari or grihastha-both are wonderful
and are needed in LCM mission. In Nista camp
they decide after the lecture on choosing
ashram and choosing a spiritual master.
