How I made my
Audience feedback
and questions I
asked:
By Gabby
• We all had various ideas about how we should collect an record our
audience feedback of Snatched, most of my group first thought we should
ask questions and record using a voice recorder and then take notes on
their responses.
• I thought this would take too long and that it would be hard to record
everything people said.
• My original idea was asking various people questions about our thriller
and recording them and then putting it on a youtube video. However
after thinking this through I came to the conclusion that many people
may answer our questions and conform to social desirability,my group
agreed as the people we ask may not be truthful because they don’t
want to offend us. I decided to go home and make questions online
,similar to the film questionnaire which I made. I posted Snatched on the
top of the questionnaire and got people to watch it and answer
questions I asked.
• I wrote this at the top of my questionnaire just so the audience
knew what it was about:
“For AS media studies our task was to make an opening
sequence to a thriller. We planned a plot and story line for the
whole movie and this is our thriller opening sequence. I would
really appreciate your help because the feedback is extremely
helpful and important in learning about what people enjoyed the
most/ or did not enjoy. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for
taking your time to watch and fill out our questionaire. “
• I posted our production of Snatched below.
Questions I asked on my
questionnaire:
• 35 people watched Snatched and wrote their feedback. 35 is quite a lot of people and it
was useful in seeing if the majority enjoyed our thriller and the open questions we asked
allowed more personal answers and enabled us to really understand what people
liked/didn’t like so much.
