The Truth About Spiritual Warfare -The Battle For Your Heart And Mind - Pt 2
1. Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and
brake it, and gave unto them, saying,This is my body which
is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying,This cup is the
new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
2. The Truth About Spiritual
Warfare – The Battle For
Your Heart and Mind –
Part 2
3. Most “spiritual warfare” is battling an enemy
that has already been defeated.
True New Testament warfare is in your heart
and mind – what you know and believe
4. The devil is a defeated enemy.
God doesn’t need you to war and defeat satan,
Jesus already defeated him and disarmed him
Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is
the head of all principality and power…
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a
shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
5. 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we
do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but
mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing
into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
6. 2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the
serpent beguiled (seduce, deceive) Eve through his subtilty
(trickery, craftiness), so your minds should be corrupted from
the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we
have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye
have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not
accepted, ye might well bear with him.
7. Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the
Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able
to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- stand against the tricks, lies and deceit
NOT the power of the devil
8. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having
done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of
peace;
9. Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;
10. We need to destroy religious doubts and go
back to the simplicity of the gospel
When you know the truth, you will have peace
and assurance
The minute you were born again, you are no
longer under any generational curses.
11. Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor
serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting
the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third
and fourth generation of them that hate me;
12. Jeremiah 31:29 In those days they shall say no more,The
fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are
set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man
that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a
new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of
Judah:
13. John 19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and
they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and
put it to his mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It
is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Jesus took the sour wine and freed you from all
generational curses on the cross!
