The firstshot we see isa panningshotacross a riverto large cliff,the underlyingdark classical music
leadsthe audience tothinkthatthismovie isgoingtobe of fast pace,the directorthencuts to a
sweepingshotof ablackcar whichlookstobe a tunnel because itissodark. Thisindicatesthatitis
goingfast.Thenwe go back to the seashotbut thistime itis movingquickeracrossthe sea.We then
cut to a secondcar whichisdifferentitagainitsfilmedwithsweepingshotsonlyshowingits
shadow.We can now see thatthese cars a probablychasingeachotherbecause of the loadcar
noisescreatingsuspense andthe non-diegeticmusicin the backgroundisalsoplayingitspart.
Then we see some shine bulletswhichare beingloadedintoagunthisshotonlylastsa second, but
the directorhas nowconfirmedtousin the first20 secondsof the movie thatthere is goingtobe
chase between these twocarsandthere isgoingto be fight,thishassetthe theme forthe whole
movie andshowshowimportantitisto get the movie openingcorrectbecause thiswill keepthe
audience engagedwiththe movie.
We thencut to multiple shotinamatter of 5 seconds,the directorhasdone thisto show the pace of
the movie andshowhowfast pace it isgoingto be.This mostimportantlykeepsthe audience
hookedonthe movie because theyhave somanyshotsto processthat itrequiresalot of thinkingso
theywill continue towatch.
We thencut to a shot of someone righteye,Ithinkthiswill be the maincharacterinthe movie
because generally firstpersonwe see inanactionmovie tendstobe the goodie and maincharacter.
