2. Name and nature of poetry Name and nature of poetry may be had from the Riks of the Vedas and the Texts of Upanishads. Poet as Seer Poet as Creator or Maker in as much as He was Kavikrutuh.
3. The vedic kavi as a yogi He was conscious of the process of Creation. Upanishads spoke of subtler states such as Swapna, Susupti and Turiya. The most significant example,is Valmiki,whose Ramayana sprang out of pathos-filled fountain of the poet’s heart.

5. To,Conclude So much discussion of the Nature of poetry by language Philosophers and Rhetoricians,There is very little of practical criticism in sanskrit poetics. Tagore was the first to stress the principle of joy and freedom in Art and to show that, “The beauty of a poem is bound by strict laws,Law is a first step towards freedom and beauty is the Complete liberation which stands and shines on the pedestal of law.’’
