ā¢ āGunasā (Quality) ā more intrinsic to poetry ā intimately
bound up with rasas
ā¢ āAlamkarasā ā external ornaments
ā¢ Alamkaras ā extremely desirable ā so long as they
appear as spontaneous outflow of a creative genious,
mixed with rasa
ā¢ They become sources of disgust when indulged in
excess because their artificiality is obvious then, and
they mar rasa.
