2. Key props
These props are key to out opening sequence as without them then we wouldn’t be
able to create the humour needed and to pull off our idea. Without the tweezers we
wouldn’t be able to show that the girl is just plucking his eyebrows, the bed is
important as it sets the scene although we could use a sofa it wouldn’t have the same
affect as the bed and wouldn’t maybe create the idea of the could having sex in the
first place, the pillow as this is what she throws at her little brother which shows her
frustration at what he's doing and shows the characters relationship and the clothes
on the floor because this also sets the scene and the audience start to believe and
maybe think they are really having sex when really their not.
3. Props used for our credits
These props will be used in our credits and will be used to form or write the names we
will be putting in for our opening scene for example writing ‘Faye Fletcher’ with the
lipstick on the mirror as it fits with out genre with the make up being used and it being
projected to teenage girls who would us make up and be interested in it also maybe
use things like lube as part of our idea is to make out that our couple are having sex
but really the girl is plucking the boys eyebrows.
4. Why props are important!
Props are important un our opening scene because with out
them we cant create most of our scenes or make them
interesting although some openings could get away with only
using one or two props but ours will be quite heavily relying
on them to create the scene. We chose the props we did as
they relate to our genre and target audience; as our audience
is targeted around teenage age and will be rated a 12 and
around the age group targeted they use things that our props
will be and rely on some of them, for example things like
chocolate, make-up, their beds and their clothes. Meaning we
are relating to them and it may interest them more to watch
the film just from the opening by relating to them by
understanding what they are interested in that age group.
