 Our opening sequence is more like napoleon dynamite where at the being there is
no speech that is being said, but coming half way through the opening sequence we
have put a voice over where it tell us what the person is thinking while the voice
    over talks.
 It is different to napoleon dynamite in many ways because in our opening sequence
it show that it is a teen opening sequence and you can see this by the girl looking at
her year book and remembering her memories, but in napoleon dynamite it is a
complete different thing this is because they don’t have a voice over at all but they
have music that is playing and what they show is plates with different food on it
with credits written in between the food plates, whereas our opening sequence is
where a girls looks back at memories and she has a pen in her hand and there they
show her crossing out people who she doesn’t like, and the people she likes the
most she would puts a heart around it showing her love, and she also has a
boyfriend who is like really hot for her! But then there is another girl involved who
Melisa thinks she likes her boyfriend so therefore she wants her to stay away from
her, in the voice over that we did it tells us what she is thinking in that she clearly
expresses her feelings but without showing her face.
 We have made a lot of changes the opening sequence by many ways this is because
we did change a few conventions so that it would feel like that we have copied
napoleon dynamite, but we have also kept some of the conventions by not showing
the protagonist which is much more similar to napoleon dynamite because in that
they also do not show the protagonist in it as well.
 Our media product represents social groups by showing
feeling of the way the girl may be feeling. It definitely
represents the teenagers this is because the opening
sequences show a girl drawing on her year book and this
would be because she is looking back into her past, but
then she sees a picture of her and her boyfriend which
make her all loved up but on the next page she sees Nikhil
holding another girl which makes her really jealous and
really angry, it would also represent females and this
would be because the way the protagonist seems to looks
like she is powerful in the way she draws on the book, and
the voice over even shows that she is the type of person
who would go up to anyone and tell them where they
stand, if they did something to annoy her.
 And the way it represents particular social groups is that it
shows the different types of groups that would be made
due to some people being popular and some being not so
    popular
I think film4 would distribute out film because film4
is the type of distribution that would make is to
  catch the audiences eye.
 And I also think channel 4 also distribute it because
they do show many teen films so ‘popular’ could be
another movie which they could distribute.
 The audience for our media product would
  be mainly aged 12+
 I would suggest that if people aged 40 and
over do want to watch it they could but I
don't think they would get the concept that
quickly and this may be because they may
  not think it is appropriate.
 Theway we attracted the audience is by
putting up posters so that they could see the
 main characters that taking part.
 There were many different technologies that were used
in making our opening sequence, such as:
Facebook
Word press
Camera
I movie
YouTube
I Macs
 These were the main things and soft wares that we used
  to create our opening sequence
I would say that I have learnt a lot from the
preliminary task which would involve the use of all
  the different technologies
 I would particularly say that I learnt more about
how to use the camera and in what position it
should be to get the correct angle
