• The genre of films usually produced by bbc
films are drama based. For example in 2012
there where only 7 films made and 3 of which
were about Henry V111.
The 20th century fox usually produces light-
hearted films/ episodes that can attract a
range of audiences. Most of the films are very
humorous and would come under the comedy
genre.

choice?
• BCC films aim to appeal to an older more sophisticated
audience, who can handle disturbing more dramatic story
lines.
• 20th century fox usually produce films of a more broader
audience, ranging from thrillers to comedies , for example, the
same institution made ice age 5, which is for children, they
also made hide and seek, which is a horror.
10. Which institutions do you feel outperforms the
other? Explain you answer
• 20TH Century outperforms BBC films because it
produces a lot more high profitable films that
BBC films does, also 20th century creates films
for all ages with all types of genres, its not got
a niche target audience like BBC films.
They also use actors of a high profile which
makes you want to watch a film by 20th
because it may contain your favourite actor.
