1. About Us
Greenfield Community School (GCS), founded in 2007, is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World
Continuum school. It is one of only a handful of schools in the world authorised to offer all four IB
programmes. These include the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP),
Diploŵa Prograŵŵe ;DPͿ, aŶd is oŶe of the first schools iŶ the UAE to offer the IB’s Career-related
Certificate (IBCC).
GCS offers state-of-the-art facilities on over 10 acres of ground. These include but are not limited to; a
multi- purpose auditorium, full sized sports field, mini pitch, gymnasium, swimming pool, childreŶ’s
pool, cafeteria, covered play areas, three tennis courts, two libraries, art studios, music rooms, ICT labs,
dance and drama studios, DT workshops and more.
Our curriculum promotes a sense of global mindedness with language forming an important and
integral part of the GCS world. In fact there is an opportunity to learn Arabic, French or German from
Kindergarten onwards.
