for the pavilions of Expo
2017
• Construction of the
pavilions began in April
2014 with 20 companies
from Kazakhstan and 49
companies from around
the globe.
EXPO 2017 was a major program, we took pavillions construction
as a project, because, this exhibition brings a lot of projects, like
apartment, shopping center, exhibition organizations and etc

4. Benefits
• It was very important PR exhibition of country,
because Kazakhstan was the first country from former
Sovet Union.
• After exhibition the Expo 2017 grounds and pavilion
space have been converted into commercial space for
corporate, startups, education and research entities.
• Zhangeldy Shymshykov, candidate of economic
sciences and an expert, thinks that EXPO is more
socio-humanistic rather than economic.
• And many people compare the EXPO with a big start-
up – 90 per cent of projects never pay off, and 10 per
cent can be successful.
5. Analysis
• Many students, civil servants and companies
were forced to buy tickets.
• Green energy which presented not so much
profitable and attractive at that time.
• But comparing with other countries projects
efficiency not so bad.
• Also uncontrolled corruption in our country
made this project expensive.
