• Guest Reception Area : Chief & PO’s
• Estimated Number of Guests: 400+
• MFRC Staff at Reception Area : 0615
• Guests Arrive at Reception Area : 0700
• Shuttles to Arrival Jetty begin: 0800
• Ship Crosses Duntz Head : 0900
• Ship Arrives at Jetty: 0920
• Crew are able to depart : ASAP upon coming alongside
subject to CBSA clearance

Parking & Meeting Location
• Parking is available in the
small parking lot off Esquimalt
and Canteen Roads
• 5-10 min walk up the hill on
Lyall St to Chiefs and POs on
Left
• A Van is available for people
who identified as mobility
challenged from Chiefs and
POs to Jetty and Back
10. Tips for Homecoming Day
• Arrive early - allows time for parking, ID checks and a light snack
• For ID checks remember picture ID for those over the age of 13
• Dress for Weather – Rain or Shine we come home!
• Bring strollers for the smaller children
• Communicate with your member about who will be on the jetty
• Make sure they have put your name on the expected guests list
• NO PETS ARE PERMITTED!
11. Pay & Benefits
• Sea Pay ended 1 Aug and will re-start 8 Aug per new
treasury board guidelines
• Ops FSP will cease on 7 Aug
• Tax free until 19 Aug

12. Leave & Time Off
• In general a member who was gone for the entire deployment
is entitled to:
– 7 Post Ops Relocation (aka Post Deployment Leave)
– 1-2 Special Mission Leave in Lieu
– 4 Short Days
– 1 Stat Holiday (Labour Day)
– 6-8 Weekend
• This takes most people until the end of the first week of
September, however, every situation is different and a
member’s individual leave entitlements may vary
