1. Goals
One of my goals that I would like to accomplish is to get into at least one AP class for sophomore
year. To do that I will need to work extra hard in science and social studies since those are the classes
that they offer AP in. This means studying a lot more and staying after if I need help. This means a lot of
time will go into this. I can’t really pick if I do or don’t get in, but I can try to get good grades so I do get
in. I will know that I accomplished it because it will show up on my schedule that I will receive.
Another goal is. I would like to increase the number of books I read, not counting the ones in
school. I don’t really have a passion for reading, do I figured if I read more, maybe I would. I will
accomplish this goal by at least reading 20 pages a night on a school night, and on the weekends maybe
more depending on my schedule. This will mean picking up a book instead of going on the internet or
watching TV.
My last goal I have is to make at least honors the whole freshman year. I could accomplish this
goal by working hard in all of my classes, studying every night on the material we learned in class that
day, and continuing to do all of my homework. This will mean longer hours of studying, so I fully
understand what I’m learning so when it comes time to at take a test, I get a good grade, which affects
my overall grade. I hope that when it comes time to receive my last report card, it shows that I have
made at least honors all three trimesters.
