2. Here is the first page when it comes to my Student ILP, which talks about the percentage of both my attendance and
punctuality, which are nearly 100 percent but because a few days of due to illness or an orthodontist appointment, these are
the only reason I have been off this year. The punctuality is down to whether or not you are late or not which I am more than
usually on time but because of the bus some times I am late because off either the traffic or a delay so besides those they are
the only times I am really late to lesson. There also is a target for myself which is to get a distinction in my FMP which at the
moment I am on track for but at this point I am hoping for a merit because that is the lowest grade which I would be happy
with as I think the level which I am working at is worth a merit at the least. In total this year I have missed a total of 12 lessons
and 4 times I have been late to lesson which is nothing in comparison to other as I have had authorization for the most of my
days off.
The reason why I decided to put distinction as a target would be because I got a distinction last year and the work which I am
producing at the moment is a lot better this year compared to last year.
My attendance this
year is only 1% worse
than last which I would
expect as I haven't
been in for the amount
of lesson compared to
last year, but my
punctuality is the exact
which once again
would be down to
myself or the transport
which I take to college.
3. With my grades I think that I'm not the most intellectual and I prefer things which are more around designing and art in
comparison to smarter courses. As I only have a total of 4 GCSE’S it was difficult to find some course in college and also sixth
form because I was looking into courses which required a total of 5 GCSE’S and having 1 less was quite annoying as I expected
to get 5 at minimum. But out of the courses which I passed they where the main three which where english and maths which I
was over the moon with, and the other GCSE which I passed is graphic design because it was something which I was really
passionate about and put the most effort into it but once again exams let me down as they are something which I not the
greatest, so when it comes to uni I had to pick a course which had no exams because I know I would let myself down at the
final hurdle.
Out of these the one GCSE which I expected to pass but didn’t would be Spanish as it was a language which I used to be able to
talk pretty much fluently but as I moved back to England I lost the majority of what I had learnt which was really annoying.
4. These are some my goals and targets which I had set myself since the start of the 2nd year, I decided to set these because they are more
of things which I could do in the future but I may go down another route in these industries. One of the aims which I talked about
would be that I wanted to pursue graphic design onto University which I am going to do as I have gone a placement at a University for
graphic design. Also something else on this page which is helpful would be the skills which I have learnt over the past 2 years the one
which stands out to me would have to be that I have learnt how to use Photoshop to a professional level as before this course I had
never touched photo shop in my life I was more familiar with illustrator as this was what I was told to use in school.
The reason behind making these goals and targets would be so that I can look back at these and see if I have achieved them or not, as
they are things which everyone should strive for. I have also talked about things which I need to improve on in the future because if I
don’t I will fall behind in certain areas of my course, such as the audience appeal of certain things and how they will react to them.
From these they are not the
be all and end all because
there are things in the
future which I want as goals
but I didn’t feel like putting
them down because I
wanted to put things which
are about this course. I have
mentioned that the next
placement for me is not
work I am looking more
towards going to university
and then afterwards looking
more into the graphics
industry and getting a job.
