Instead you need to make sure the image looks good on each platform.
Canva helps with this by providing templates formatted to current guidelines.
Images w/ dominant colors red, dark green, & pink get 3 times the amount of likes & repins

2 tips for visual content
Must be eye-catching
Drive your audience to take action - like or share the post, go to your website or blog post.
Think about what you action want them to take
Show don’t tell, use images to help tell your story, your message.
Visual content needs to appeal to your audiences lifestyle, values, & their pain points
Make it about them, not you
How can you help them? Always be asking “What’s in it for them?”
Use Photos & quotes with images - remember 3x the interaction & 87% of all shares
Provide How To’s & Checklists to help your audience
Choices & asking questions drives engagement & interaction with your followers
Ask for responses - consider ending posts with “what do you think?” or “do you agree?”

Quizzes - build an emotional connection
Screenshots or behind the scenes of your business or what you are doing are great ideas, people like to be “in-the-know”
Always be your authentic self on social media. This helps you build a connection with your audience.
Be concise - people lose interest quickly, try to keep your posts short & sweet, 40 characters or less if you can do it. Buffer reported 86% more engagement on posts with 40 characters than posts with a higher character count.
Consistency is KEY!
Post consistently - try to post the same days & times
Mark Schaefer author of the Content Code suggests using RITE content - relevant, interesting, timely/trending, entertaining
Use your logos, website address, slogan, &/or hashtag on all images you post
Create a brand style & use it constantly
Be known for certain colors, font, filters & use them when creating images
If you are your brand use photos of yourself - remember people do business with people
It’s about building the relationship - know, like, trust
