Applications:
EHT Steri-Sil is manufactured from a medical grade clear
silicone rubber polymer producing a very high grade, soft
pliable hose making it ideal for critical pharmaceutical,
biomedical, food, and cosmetic applications.
Applications include both high and low temperature fluid
transfer, bottle filling, and pharmaceutical and laboratory
tubing.

Silicone Tubing
Applications:
Steri-tube is a seamless, translucent, highly flexible silicone
elastomer tubing, completely free of plasticisers or
additives. Steri-tube may be sterilized by autoclaving, ETO or
irradiation.
Platinum cured Steri-tube is used extensively in food
processing and pharmaceutical plants for peristaltic pumps,
electrical insulation blood transfusion and microbiology
areas.
A hi-tear grade version is available for peristaltic pumps.

Description:
Silicone rubber reinforced with one ply of fabric. Usually
manufactured by extrusion but mandrel-wrapped versions
are also available. Can be supplied cut to length or on a
continuous reel when extruded.
Applications:
Designs available to operate with aggressive long life coolant

Clear PVC suction & delivery hose
Description:
An extremely tough and flexible nontoxic transparent PVC
hose, allowing easy identification of blockages. UV
compounded to maintain clarity. Excellent resistance to
pressure, vacuum, abrasion and accidental crushing with
accurate pitch and placement of high tensile carbon steel
helix preventing bulging and bursting. Highly flexible over a
wide temperature range. Smooth bore reduces flow loss.
Applications:
Suitable for the suction and delivery of water, slurries,
granules, foodstuffs and dilute chemicals. Hi-Vac is ideally
suited to applications in the agricultural, food processing,
plastics handling , marine & construction industries. Hi-Vac is

Heavy Duty PVC Suction and Delivery Hose
Multipurpose hose for of water, sewage, slurries and powders
Description:
A heavy duty PVC hose, reinforced with a semi-rigid crush
resistant white PVC helix. Designed to operate under severe
working conditions, this hose is tough, flexible and
extremely durable under normal operating conditions. It has
outstanding resistance to the effects of weather. Minimum
frictional loss is achieved by the smooth bore.
Temperature Range:
-10°C to +55°C continuous
Application:
Suction and delivery of water, sewage, slurries and powders.
This product is particularly popular in the agricultural,
construction & for general industrial applications. Heavy-
duty suction hose is supplied in straight lengths with
polished aluminium alloy couplings for fire brigade
applications.
Construction:
White rigid crush resistant anti-shock PVC Spiral helix
encapsulated in a dark green flexible PVC cover, with a
smooth inside wall.
Special Features:
Optimum flow is maintained by the smooth bore. A robust,
heavy duty construction that withstands a full vacuum.

Braidflex
Description:
A lightweight PVC hose, reinforced with high tensile
polyester fibres. EHT braided PVC Hose is tough, flexible and
extremely durable under normal operating conditions.
Manufactured from FDA approved ingredients, braided PVC
hose is suitable for food contact applications. It is resistant
to a wide range of chemicals. Minimum frictional
loss is achieved by the smooth bore.
Applications:
Can be used to convey many liquids and gases under
pressure. Applications include factory airlines, pneumatic
equipment & general workshop use.

ERIKS Hose Technology (EHT) is expert in the supply of PTFE tube.
We offer a very comprehensive range of standard sizes to satisfy
most needs.
PTFE tube has the best chemical resistance (alongside PFA) of all
known polymers. It’s temperature range of -70

C to +265
o
C opens
up PTFE tubing to many applications most other polymers can’t
withstand.
The electrical insulation properties of PTFE tubing are superb making
it an ideal choice for electrical sleeving. Chemical dosing & metering
pumps require long continuous lengths of PTFE tube, very difficult to
produce but possible with EHT.

Low, medium & high density Imperial PE tubing
Applications:
Ideal in low pressure applications such as air and pneumatic
lines, fluid feeds, chemical transfer, food and beverage
processing, potable water systems, drains, pool and spa
supply lines, and more.
LDPE exhibits a high degree of inertness and forms a good
barrier to gases, vapours, and moisture. It provides good
dielectric properties and will not impart any taste or odour
to fluids running through it. LDPE is manufactured from non-
toxic, 100% virgin grade resins with ingredients that conform
to FDA standards.
Resistant to water and organic salt solutions, diluted bases
and acids as well as concentrated bases have no effect, but
all will discolour and crack under the action of concentrated
nitric and sulphuric acids particularly at high temperatures.
LDP tube does not rely on plasticiser for flexibility so is ideal
for food applications.
Advantages of LDPE Tubing: - cheap, good chemical
resistance, high impact strength at low temperatures,
excellent electrical properties
Disadvantages: - low strength, low stiffness, low maximum
operating temperature, flammable, poor UV resistance, high
gas permeability (particularly CO2), susceptible to

Plastiflex
Vacuum Cleaner Hose
Applications:
EHT Plastiflex has excellent crush and kink resistance and is
extremely durable. If crushed the hose springs back to its
former shape. This is due to the interlocking plastic profiled
strip. This gives superb flexibility and capability to bend very
tightly with no constriction of the inner dimensions.
The hose is entirely of plastic which makes it very light
weight. The inner surface is recessed and has a smooth
finish, reducing flow resistance and easing the feeding of
cables. Plastiflex has many uses, it’s main one being for the
industrial vacuum cleaner as it is very light and very robust.
However Plastiflex is also often used for carwash and other

Reinforced Vinyl hose
Description:
A flexible hose produced with Biovinyl™ and reinforced with
steel spiral and polyester yarn. Completely free of
phthalates. Resistant to several chemicals and to weather
conditions.

APPLICATIONS:

spiral. The electrical resistance R ≤ 102Ohm/m is according
